Like I said, I think he's a good player, but if OBJ does in fact move to CB, who would you prefer: OBJ or Martin? Martin is a guy we could have waiting on til like January, see if bigger pieces fall to us, and go from there

Just saying you are probably the only person who would want Rivers over Teddy

I watched some of his 7 on 7 game and he didn't look impressive at all. Watching his H.S. film he doesn't look like a very polished passer. He is going to need some time, like Rivers.

I'm jsut confused.

SO, we have very good chances with Bridgewater, Carter, and Mett.

Bridgewater will commit if "Eli" gets an offer? Eli who? Eli Rogers?

IF We get Mett, Bridgewater and Rivers.... With Mett starting Bridgewater and Rivers(talk about ironic names) will redshirt and learn the new offense that will likely be installed.

Rivers compliments Bridgewater in 2014 IF that happens

Yes, Rogers

And while everyone thinks that Landon Collins will be a perfect fit for the OLB spot in Chavis' system, who's to say he may not stay as a safety? I'm not saying Martin isn't a take, but unless we are talking about giving a grey-shirt to him as well, I think we could have waited on a guy like him to see what happens over the season.

Well he is a punter that's out in California. Is it really worth the money to get him to visit?

I'm all for taking Bridgewater but not Eli Rogers. If we open a schollie for Rogers who are we going to turn down?None of the commits outside of Botts is getting the axe and he is going to get it anyway.

Assuming we take Bridgewater and Rogers that's 2 who get's turned away?
QB-Mettenberger-nope-3
WR-Carter?,Beckham-nope-4
OL-Robinson-nope-5
DE-Rasco-nope-6
DT-Jernigan-nope-7,Mickey Johnson-maybe but i don't think so
LB-Thompson,Paul,Perryman,Maggitt-No way we would turn down all of them;we'd definitely take 1 if they want in-8
Those 8 would equal 24 commits and add 1 for Fordham=25.We could do that but do we really turn down Mickey if he wants in?We've recruited him hard all year.Do we waste all that time by turning him away?I think things are going to work out no matter who we take or don't take and will be thrilled either way.Just curious to you guys thoughts on who to turn down if we give a schollie to Rogers.

I have never felt good about him(Robinson) but I've heard nothing but good things for us the last month or so.Starting to come around a little.I hope you weren't thinking the word nope means we don't get those guys.It just means we wouldn't turn them down.

Oh I figured that with the the nope by mett

I don't like hearing that if we offer Eli we get Bridgewater. Eli is nothing special and would probably do less than Chris tolliver has

Wasn't Quintin Thomas under scrutiny recently? Would he be someone we'd be willing to pull the scholly on to get Bridgewater (or anyone else for that matter)?
