His statement was that he didn't go to class or do work. Basically said he screwed up.

And I find it hard to believe any state school's general education or kinesiology degrees are very difficult.

OSU is not taking him back. Not on scholarship.Cris Carter Jr. is going but very, very small chance they take Duron back. That's why he's visiting. If he were just going to OSU he would already be commited. They don't want him unless they completely miss on their remaining targets and likely not then.

Expect either Carter or Anthony Denham as part of this class. While we do have Randle, getting a big guy who can stretch the field to pair up with him, as well as some experience, is something that is needed.

With Randle and Carter out wide and Landry in the slot, that's very scary

Flowers is the big guy the coaches really want.

I thought I read on here that Gonzales went to one of his games and said he didn't see enough to make him a part of this class. Flowers also wouldn't contribute much until his 2nd year here. Carter or Denham can start from day 1

I think Carter can only be here for three years to play two years, so he will be gone by then. More like Randle, Shep, Boone and Carter.

I hope Shepard isn't in the slot. Another year of his great hands there

They need to try to put about 20 lbs on him and let him play RB much more than any receiver position. Catching ability is natural, it can be cultivated to an extent, but when the lights are on, you have it or you don't...it would sadly appear that Shep doesn't.

No. We went out to see him and came back not impressed and closed the door on him.

Why is Rivals so down on Flowers. Is ranking is low for some of the things I have read on here from LSU fans.

I'm a big fan of Flowers.I definitely think the sites are missing something with him.I've seen a lot of film of him and the kid is a very good player and athlete.Could play S or WR.Everyone says he's not fast enough but on film he looks plenty fast and Flowers says he has run a 10.5 100m.That's not slow.Flowers is very high on us and says we are still recruiting him.A guy that has personal convos with him thinks he would commit to us if we firmed up an offer. Now is very interested in GT,percievably(sp) because of non commitable offers from most of his finalists.I'd take him before Carter or Rogers or any wr left on the board outside of OBJ.

No and No

Carter brings experience, albeit it be for only 2 years. We need someone like him next year. And I take Rogers, knowing that he brings me Bridgewater, WAY before Flowers

we share similar thoughts on Flowers, but I think I might take Carter over him

No guarantee Bridgewater doesn't get made into a WR either. Especially with us likely going back to our bread and butter, the Power I .

Bridgewater had a great game last night in the playoffs. Has an injured knee (don't know the specifics but had a brace on) and still did a lot of everything.

I don't care what formation we run, I will be pissed if we move him from QB
