GeauxAggie,i have the same impression of Bridgewater. The kid is a winner, leader and doesn't panic.Would be a great site to see a Qb play for us and not panic finally.
dreaux,Right there with you on Jefferson.Physical talent is not his problem and never has been.He has a very long throwing motion but other than that the kid has NFL talent physically(I'm going to get railed for that one)but he has grade school football intelligence outside of running the ball.He frustates the piss out of me with some of the dumb things he does.#1 to me is his complete lack of pocket awareness and holding the ball entirely too long when his first read is covered.

As I've said a million times, I'd take Bridgewater over Brissett, but I'd love to have one of the two at least in this class. Obviously we aren't going to get both of them, but one of the two would make me happy. As said earlier in the thread, a GOOD dual-threat who doesn't panic and is a leader is what we need. Ryan Mallett is great in the pocket, but make him run and you might we well just give it to the defense. I am just hoping after Bridgewater's visit, he will either lean off of the "offer Eli and get me" talk, and just decide to go with us, or talk ole Miles into offering Eli.
I just want to see this kid in P&G. I will be awaiting the day Memphis gives us some details into the Bridgewater visit.

Rivers compliments Bridgewater in 2014 IF that happens
I think Rivers has a better upside than Bridgewater as a passer.

Supposed to be visiting him sometime this week. Will check out his grades and supposedly if they check out, he will have a committable offer and likely commit there
