i have been hearing alot of black kids at Catholic have been having problems and if it wasnt for the threat of him being ineligible D Guice would be gone also, I have heard stories as well but my SULAB sources say he has been great and respectable and he has been playing all year through a serious injury he had at catholic.

So true when him and ferguson were put off the team they were at McKinley the next day trying to enroll that's when the threats came about his eligibility it was a no win situation so he became stuck at Catholic. they couldn't mess with ferguson because he never stayed in Catholic district just went to school there

What do you mean mess with? And what are these threats? Who threatened anyone? There are rules. And those rules would have made him ineligible. That's why Ferguson went to Lab instead of McKinley, he'd have been ineligble at McKinley.

Look, if you're implying that he never had any issues with the team until he missed a single meeting, then I really don't know what to say. Javahn wanted to leave, and he did. I hope it works out for him, and I hope that goes to the school that he wants to go to. He's a very talented player.

its not that. its the kids thats been brought in/recruited into CHS to play sports thats gonna have problems.

You gonna have boys there with the attitude of "im here to play football,b-ball,track, etc etc" thats it.

Lets be real for a sec. You can look at a group of black kids on CHS campus, and i bet you that you can tell which of the boys has been brought up k-8 in a middle class setting.

ETA: How I know, my HS has/had the same problem when I was there.

I'll say this:

Just from what on javahn and guice's Twitter pages, I'm surprised that they both didn't get kicked out.

Javahn clearly has an attitude problem--there is NO better coach or place to play football than CHS. If you want to play in college and be successful in life, you stay there (not to say it's not possible anywhere else).

All the kids that left CHS for sports at other places were self centered and thought they were better than they actually were. I'm just being honest and speaking from what I can remember.

Guice has the attitude problems too, Yall just don't wanna admit it. You're not getting kicked out of catholic unless you're a problem kid.

But based off javahns film, he'd made a good d1AA LB.

I just don't know where he'd fit in D1 -as a 5'11 230 LB with 4.8 speed

Somebody sent javahn and his potnas on here to post his video and vouch for him? Tell the young man to focus on the season, play hard, keep a positive attitude, stay away from the noise, and good things will come to him.

From what I saw, part of the reason why he's not a CHS anymore because he was too involved with the noise.

I don't know him personally, have never ever spoken to him. He was hard to not notice at the little camp thing I saw him at.

Out of curiosity, what is the purpose of this thread? Gossip or discuss football stuff? If it's to discuss football things, I call bs on your suggested measurables for him.

Either way have a nice day.

Just from their online profiles, I get the impression of very self centered young boys. Now they are young, and have time to grow, but those attitudes seeped through their Twitters. That's why I'm not surprised that Guice reopened his recruting because he wasn't getting the pub he wanted. It's all him, and whoever his handlers are believe the same thing. Which is fine, but it doesn't mesh with the catholic high way.

Ferguson is no taller than 6'1.

His speed, based on the tape is in the 4.8 range.

That's not bad for high school.

His ESPN profile also says he ran a 5.00

I don't blame Guice for wanting to take visits. I think every player with this opportunity should take advantage of it. I also think Guice deserves more recognition, especially from the All Star games. I hope LSU is doing what it can to promote him.
