Probably 8 times out of 10 it is bs when someone says such and such is a silent commit. But at the same time if a big time recruit knows where he wants to go he'll go ahead and silently commit because he still wants to get flown all over the country and get wined and dined by the universities. Especially if his school is running out of scholarships.

you're right, just saw Sonny's post! WHEW!
Great job Sonny . Right on the money. For those who are interested here is what Janzen Says,

“I liked him (Chavis) a lot,” said Jackson. “He’s a real straightforward guy and he doesn’t blow smoke.”

“I’m pretty solid on LSU,” he said. “I’m just trying to make sure that’s the place I want to go, but I’m pretty solid on LSU.”

He's the guy that took your program from the outhouse to the penthouse, and when you got there he told you to get the frick out of his room.

i haven't read the whole thread so don't bash me if it's been discussed but he's supposed to be visiting TN this weekend. Do we have a shot, or is it all LSU?

UT has an outside shot, but really he is pretty solid on LSU, and just trying to make sure that it is the place for him. He'll be a tiger.

Actually, his recruiting took us there. He only had one season with less then 3 losses. Judging from the class Miles is about to haul in...that recruiting hasn't fallen off a bit.

What you said plus 2 seccg's and a NC. But let's not talk about the fact that lsu hadn't won a seccg since 82 and hadn't won a NC since 58 and had a losing record thru the nineties.let's not talk about that and let's just say saban is a shite coach and leave it at that.
