Taylor Hamm just predicted him to LSU on 247. Chavis is gonna switch his base defense to Dime.
i don't trust Hamm enough. He may just want to predict away from UT.
He's way too biased to read anything into.

If we can pull Adams, that would take some of the sting out from out other disappointment...give me guys that want to wear Purple & Gold!

I'm in Dallas, they should be fine.
If they leave Thursday, no problem. But it could possibly be a little more dicey Friday. Freezing rain expected to start Thursday evening and continuing through Friday morning. Not expected to get above freezing Friday so it could play hell on travel plans.

I agree, but the sentiment of most "insiders" is that LSU is becoming the lead dog in the race.
Add in the fact we will probably sign EP and TB to go with him and I like our chances.

This weekend will be our biggest pitch
on campus, seeing bowl preparation, seeing young guys like jennings, robinson, white, et all telling them they will play and be counted on in the clutch
If he doesn't commit this weekend, silently or publicly, I will be surprised .. very surprised.

only thing that sucks about having silent commits or kids committing at games is the fact they never openly helped in the recrutiment process of other players. i think it would have helped a lot if Fournette and Malchi was out there openly recruiting hard for us like Ed paris is or like CamR did for his team

To me that's false, southbend... they most certainly do recruit
example) malachi dupre' hosted adoree jackson on his visit to lsu.
these guys recruit. They may not do it publicly but they do recruit for the team they're leaning towards signing with for college.

A lot of the time the kids want to enjoy their stardom, so they keep things "open" so they can enjoy free stuff, lots of attention and a public announcement. With all that said, recruits talk to each other and just because the public doesn't know doesn't mean the recruits don't.

I 100% agree. However these guys are recruiting behind the scenes i promise you.

All we can call that is "less than ideal" circumstances. These kids definitely deserve to make their decisions within their own time frames, as these are their lives were talking about here. But there's no denying that when recruits see a monster class building on the backs of early commits, they are more apt to declare with that school if they're on the fence. Right now it just seems like everyone on our board is waiting to see how the chips fall, when in actuality, THEY are the chips themselves..

Should Frank Wilson be nervous?
Posted on 12/4/13 at 11:05 am to HollierThanThou
yep, they have earned that right southbend.
and something else to note is that some HS's/Coaches won't allow visits if already committed. I think St Aug is one, Karr might be too.
So if they're going to do much of anything they have to wait. It is worrisome, but it is what it is.

Heck, if we land Jackson, Dupre should get partial credit.
Ditto for Paris if we land Adams (and I am more confident every day on that one).

Damn, maybe we should be worried, isnt Taylor only 50/50 on those picks?

This will be one of the 50, not the 50.
