I trust the coaches with how they navigate this class to the finish line. If we want to finish with an all time great class, we have to let go of some good players. Can't say Vol didn't warn everyone weeks ago.

I like Lee, but Lee is the lowest rated DT commit and if he is replaced it will be by a better prospect.

If you recall it took a while for LSU coaches to pull the trigger and go after Lee. I don’t know how productive he’s been this year. I’m sure there are some Live Oak fans on here that can give an update on his progression this year.

I'm guessing we are telling him to explore his options in case he gets the boot? That's a good way to go about it. Don't wanna leave these kids hanging.

We need DEs that dont have a history in hs of being lazy and out of shape like Jackson does.
William Perry played RB for the 85 bears with Walter Payton in the backfield so pardon me if a 300lb guy being used as a battering ram against kids maybe 220 doesnt really impress me.

When he first committed I never thought we would be telling him to look elsewhere because better talent is coming in. This is bittersweet because he is a real good player from down the road and I don’t want him to go elsewhere but knowing we are getting better talent is unbelievable!

Get you on that Vol. Just saying they better hope they arent getting played. Surtain and Tim Jernigan were silents once upon a time and didnt work out very well. This staff was the one burned by Surtain and turned away talent beforehand. Hope it doesnt repeat itself.

Everything is lining up to me.
All the current commits start reaffirming that they are 100% and shutting their recruitments down
And a day or two later he sets his commitment date

Definitely would prefer if they are upfront and truthful about the situation instead of just ghosting them and cutting off communication.

Vol, is it 1,2,3,4, or 5 that’s on board?

This year is different man. Not a LSU is getting played type of year. It should be a privilege to play at LSU.

VOL said 4 remaining
1. Webb
2. Evans
3. Dumervil
4. Burch

We all knew cuts would be made to upgrade and I don't think that's the gripe many of us have, at least not me. It's the kid being pushed out. Instate, no issues on the surface, high upside, position of need and worse prospects out there.
Also Taylor is taking visits so we pushing him too? Who we keeping?

Just relax and enjoy the ride. No one on this board has to make the tough decisions of who to take/cut. These things always have a way of working themselves out.
