The LSU staff has been traveling all over Florida during the spring evaluation period and one prospect that Billy Gonzales has checked in on is Ja’Juan Story.

The dude's a stud...don't know how interested he is though.

People would quickly forget about Sylve if we landed Story.

Impressive offer list.

How is he ranked as a three star and #43 WR overall?

I was seriously about to come on here and post something about him. He reminds me a LOT of Kadron Boone. Good hands and just knows what to do once he has the ball. Like Boone, once he gets in the open field, you aren't catching him

Be weird to see him leave the state, but Boone is from Florida who committed to Texas Tech then us. So I would say anything is possible. Maybe we need to get Boone on the phone with him

I think we will start to see the benefits of Gonzales's recruiting in Florida this year if we have a good year 9-10 wins.

He has LEGIT connections at major high schools across the state.

Kid looks pretty good. He's gotta be more than 185#.

He won't be a 3 star for long. Great tape, sick offer list.

Wow! You don't see 6'4, wheels, and those kinds of moves very often. Hopefully getting in on him early will help. Good post.

If this kid had a big time QB, he would be a high 4 Rivals, 5 star Scout prospect.

I was blown away by his start/stop ability. Very unusual for someone as big as he is.

If that's a three star then I'm Bugs Bunny. Kid is a stud!

Not necessarily. We still don't have an elite slot WR in this class, something our offense has been missing for a long time.

Not a slot WR. Landry is a true, polished wideout.

Landry could play anywhere. He's just that physical. We would only miss Sylve in the return game IMO.

He could but he doesn't have the elite speed in the interior that someone like Sylve would bring. I'd much rather have Landry on the outside than in the slot.

While i think Sylve's speed makes him very attractive for the slot(I hope he flips),Landry's skills are suited for the slot.He has elite agility and i would beg anyone to find a reciever with better moves in this class. The guy is special.I do agree that he's a polished, complete wr but with Boone,Randle and the other big wrs we have,Landry will have a field day in the slot. With his skills after the catch(not to mention getting open),his lack of speed will not hunder him imo.
Story has blown up on the camp circuit but will not make it out of the state of Florida most likely.Very good prospect though.Doesn't hurt to try.

Wow. This guy is one of my favorites. I know he lists Ohio State, Miami and Florida as his top schools but we need to get in there and do work this guy looks like a total stud.
