I think there is a real possibility that stewart isn’t really ready to contribute until year 3 and if he didn’t reclassify that’s year 2 and that’s not abnormal.

And for him, that’s fine, if he’s a beast year 3 he on track to get drafted.

But for a team paying a ton of money for a really young DL, I feel like that’s a bad return.

Agreed. It’s not my money but I would personally rather us put that money toward someone in the portal who can contribute next season. If he turns into the next Aaron Donald at USC then that’s awesome for him.

USC will be looking for a new coach after next year. Hope his family likes flying out west to see him play. Money talks though.

He might have a high ceiling, but his film doesn’t constitute a huge NIL deal and I’ve seen way more BUST at this position over “can’t miss”
