Better spend all the money you can before Texas gets into the division. You'll never be anything but little brother then.

As for LSU, the program itself is success regardless who the HC is. We've won a NC 3x with 3 different head coach the past two decades. What has TAMU done other than shown big brother envy to Texas and now LSU since you don't have Texas around anymore? Done trying to take our sloppy second coaches?

So who in your mind besides Ed O is going to recruit three top-five classes now going on four top-five classes in a row to LSU?

Who is going to win over 76 percent of his games in four years, an SEC West Division title, an SEC Championship title, and a Natty title with the greatest college football team ever in the history of LSU, the SEC, and the NCAA, while also at the same time defeating 7 AP top-10 teams on the way to the national championship? Meanwhile, Ed O's 15 & 0 season is the best season ever in history not only at LSU but also in the SEC.

Not to mention that besides winning SEC Coach of the Year honors, Ed O also won numerous National Coach of the Year honors, and Ed O's players won a Heisman Trophy and every other major award in college football.

On top of that, Ed O also put 20 players from only one team in only one year in the NFL, which shatters the old all time record.

While his win-loss record against AP Top-10 teams is 13 & 5, which is the best win-loss record in college football by a mile for a four year head coach.

Why can't you ever give Ed O credit where credit is due?

Meanwhile, Les Miles got lucky and backed his way into a Natty with Nick Saban's players.

Need to help you out here a little bit. All you needed to say was “Meanwhile, Ed O's 15 & 0 season is the best season ever in history” because it is the best in NCAA history!

Not quite. Clemson also has one 15 & 0 season.

Their SOS was one of the worst in recent history and they play in the ACC.

Who was talking about the schedule? I was talking about the 15 & 0 record and I wish LSU's 15 & 0 season was the best in the NCAA, but it's not because Clemson also has a 15 & 0 season to their credit.

Elko said his family is happy. He won't take anything but a premier D1 job... if that.

Dude, you’re better than most Aggie posters here, but are you really trying to say he’d turn down a premier D1 job to stay DC at A&M?

Records and seasons are 2 different animals. Clemson played, what 3 top 25 opponents, LSU beat, what, 6 or 7 in 19.....?? and ??
