To some of the recent backs to come out? Dyer, lattimore, Richardson.

as a high school prospect, better than those three. time will tell how that translates to the college game

I think he is going to be great. He runs and looks like AP on the field. So I would say as good or better than the guys listed.

Those 3 aren't even in his league.
Dude is a once in a lifetime player, most underrated thing about him is his hands

I was coming to post this. Really great out of the backfield.

You mean, once in a lifetime of LSU players? Once in a lifetime of all college football players?

Prolly too trendy of a comparison but I agree with someone in another thread. TJ Yeldon.
He's got that forward lean and runs a little upright like al blue. Taller back at around 6' or 6'1. Very nimble on his feet and makes very quick cuts and almost hops a little while reading blocks, changes direction really well at the LOS. Can accelerate very quickly and packs more of punch than you would think. Has toughness and vision to run between the tackles, and speed to get outside. Does a good job cutting back and hitting the backside hole after the D has crashed down on the initial hole.

Same thing was said about McKnight.

Richardson is the best out do those three.

Comparing Fournette to McKnight should be a perma ban.

AP is probably going to end up one of the greatest backs of all time.
I think most of you guys that keep comparing him to him are going a little overboard due to homerism and excitement......
With that said, when I see him run, Eddie George comes to mind more than anyone.

Peterson is the most similar as far as their ability at the High School level.

Peterson >>>>>>>>> George
I understand what you're saying and I figured someone would bring it up, but out of the two......who would you prefer?
Especially since the Heisman Trophy winner is a popularity contest.
