It marked the third time Brown has scored 50 or more points this season. The 5-foot-7 sophomore averages 38 points per game for Istrouma (9-8).

I wonder if Mulkey is recruiting her.

Went to Episcopal, this is a terrible take.

Episcopal consistently has one of the best women’s basketball teams in the state, especially for the level they play

Both teams have ballers that scored 50+

I can promise you this, Coach Mulkey bread and butter is can she play DEFENSE. It is Defense that will catch Mulkey's eye.

She is not on that level, she took 48 shots to get to 64 and hit only ONE (1) 3-Point shot.

I'm sure 357 can add to what I'm saying. For instance, my granddaughter has drawn the interest of some of the top WBB coaches including Coach Mulkey as she won DEFENSIVE MVP at the Mulkey Camp this last summer.

If you want to see top guard play, attend the Southern Lab vs. Lafayette Christian game tonight at Southern Lab. LSU signee Jada Ricard will be guard by my granddaughter Kori Wesley. Kori is only a FRESHMEN this year. Last year as an 8th grader she made 2nd Team All State. Just a subtle brag. You can pull up my previous post history and see highlights of her. Also, she guarded Jada as a 7th grader and held her own against her.

Great stuff, not bragging when you can back it up, all the best to your granddaughter and her future.

Thanks SECFBALLFAN. I appreciate that. Kori's stats last year as an 8th Grader was 21pts, 11rebs, 7assts, 4stls per game. That is why she earned All State honors. We train her on being the COMPLETE player and affecting the game on BOTH ends of the court.

UPDATE:
From the game tonight, it was an epic battle in front of a packed gymnasium. Southern Lab beat LCA in overtime.
The number 1 player in the state, Jada Richard was guarded man to man by my granddaughter Kori Wesley. Jada finished with 10 points.
Kori totally locked her down. It had quite a few news media at the game and Kori was interviewed by 3 different news outlets after the game on her performance against Jada. Again she is only a Freshman.
