Is tony hull in consideration for lsu after all the Nola players he pulled?
I found this article in him that he used to be a NASA engineer before getting in coaching.

If that happens, then Hull planned it. If he planned, the kids are probably in on it. If the kids are in on it, how, and why would they then all turn around a commit to LSU?
I don't know. Whatever is happening, there must be real money going to these kids right now.

I don't like this tactic to go about trying to stiffarm your way into a job.
If he wants the job, apply, interview and if you're the best candidate you'll get the job.
Using high school kids to do your bidding using meaningless fake commitments is low brow, and knowing nothing else about the guy makes me wonder why he feels he needs to pull this stunt.
He must not be confident in his resume and coaching capabilities that he's willing to use kids to mislead a school by publicly "committing" a year before they can make a binding commitment in order to get a job offer from someone other than the current employer he's making a mockery of as part of the stunt.
Be a man and earn your job. Don't use and take advantage of other people and institutions for your own personal gain.

If this is a stunt by Hull and these kids, I hope they are kept far away from LSU. No character.
Shows how poison the recruiting water might be in Nola right now.

I agree and would add that it's likely that this guy is breaking NCAA rules to get these results and we don't want to poison the program with that.

The guy is trying to recruit the best available kids for KANSAS. He's strength is Louisiana kids, he was recruiting Louisiana all year. Most coaches have seen him more than LSU coaches.
He's doing his job. I suggest LSU start doing theirs,

I interpret these events very differently.

When has 5 top La recruits committed to Kansas: on the same day? In Feb, 1 yr before signing day? In football?
Bama has never accomplished that with Burns.
Just coincidentally happens to occur as LSU is finalizing staff hires.

Right...
So, why didn't he land anyone we wanted last year? Seems like if he's such a great recruiter he'd have landed someone. He got nada.
We didn't have a RB coach opening last year though.

I'm a LSU fan....but this thinking is ridiculous. He has been in Louisiana schools as much LSU and he is being rewarded for making the relationship with the players. Out of state recruiters are planting seeds in players heads that they aren't a top priority to LSU.

Number 31 Very well said, I don't view Coach Hull as trying to recruit his way to LSU. He was a successful coach at Waren Easton HS in NOLA. He knows these kids and is trying to do his job. I don't see this is any malicious attempt because if that's twhe case what do you call Saban. LSU needs to get it's house in order quickly.

Offer the states best..... then stay on them make relationships.... they are dragging their feet on many of the states best.... full court pressing out of state guys many who aren't gonna pick LSU.... the word is out other schools are using this against LSU!

I'd hold out for someone better, tbh. Recruiting season is over (I know it's never really over). I wouldn't rush it.

I don't care for hull as our next RB coach but man it's no different than the past 5-10 years of college football. Stories always "leak" of a coach taking another job just to get a raise. Desk jobs for girlfriends so they can get a recruit. HS coaches getting a college position so they can get a recruit. Money and benifits aside this shite has been unethical.

Jason and Harris have had offers for over a year. Coach O was just in Hanville the other day so they weren't being neglected.
I hope LSU wins 10+ games this year then signs a Top 3 class with the majority out of state. The LSU coaches need to show these LA kids they aren't playing games anymore

So, the multiple NOLA players that he got last year to actually enroll and already at Kansas was a conspiracy?
What about the Alabama transfer Charlot that is already there?
The guy got hired at Kansas because because he has deep connections in NOLA and recruit. That's it.

If he was i bet hes not now. I do not care how anyone tries to spin it, there is some shady arse shite going on .Players better run far away from him and fast if they want to follow their dreams.

Lsu drags their feet on LA prospects , most notably the Qb's to Miss State. Seems they {LSU coaches} are taking LA players for granted until the end while they pursue out of state superstars, whom they should go after, but they should not treat in state kids as after thoughts. In state loyalty is a two way street.

He may be able to get a few kids from the Nola area to go there, but the notion that 6 players from LA commit to an OOS school with almost no football tradition is absurd. I don't remember 6 LA kids ever committing to LSU in one day.

The shady part is that he is letting the kids do it, he obviously is using the kids for personal leverage. LSU Bama, UT, and everyone should stop recruiting the kids that do this immediately.
