Totally agree. I think Reed is a very good talent, but not exclusively. LSU can find suitable talent to fill that slot.

Trooper is a good coach. He is a good recruiter and he puts the best players on the field regardless of seniority.

Before this season, AU fans were wondering why Darvin Adams was the #1 WR on the depth chart. Now, he leads the SEC in TD catches and probably deserved to be on one of the All-SEC teams IMO. If Greg Knox still coached our WRs, Adams wouldn't have sniffed the field.

Actually StevieRay, I think the ones that said he is slimy have all but shut up. It's the ones that knew him while he was here in La have been singing his praises. I just wonder what you think of him, being a UTk fan and all. Was he all that and a bucket of spit up there?

Huh? "You" said? The very person who says " Everything people imagined Frank Wilson was, Taylor is." is the one you respond with this crap to?

Miss reading comprehension class? The poster was criticizing what some LSU fans falsely said/thought about Wilson. But I guess a handful of LSU fans can speak for all of us if StevieRayVol says they do.

ok look, i like Auburn the most out of any SEC teams, but if an Auburn fan really thinks that they can compete against the likes of LSU, they are retarded...Seriously...LSU football is #1...

He's an embarrassment. I would not want him on an LSU coaching staff.

Sounds like you don't know much about Trooper Taylor. No way in hell LSU would consider hiring that dude.

We will be in excellent shape if we get Tolbert.

he managed to be dirty as an asst. S&C coach at LSU. I can only imagine the shite he is doing at Alabama.

the real question is; if a wide receiver recruit is looking to make it to the NFL does Trooper Taylor help me or Tyke Tolbert? I say Tolbert.

No way Miles touches Taylor after what just happened with McCarthy. Too much risk. When you report a violation, the NCAA starts watching you closer, so there isn't going to be any wiggle room for LSU for a couple of years. No recruit is worth the risk of real penalties. Going NFL for the WR position is a great idea, if it pans out, because Tolbert will come in with a clean record and a great resume that we can sell to recruits. He is the best hire we can make right now.

As far as Taylor goes, he may not be committing violations left and right, but he has a bad rep, and it isn't just our fans that say it. He may be a good coach, but he is also pretty expensive for a good recruiting WR coach that jumps jobs every 1-2 years. If he's so incredible, why hasn't anyone made him an OC yet? He's been a "hot up and coming coach" for 4 years now. What's the hold up there?
