Howard has a very strong arm from what I've seen.

Is Manning's arm as strong as Howard's might be the better question.

Manning is a good prospect, but I think Howard is a better one.

He’s got a cannon Arch could only wish for. Plus a much better body to support the growth.

Howard will win the Elite 11 in Los Angeles this summer.

A year older, but right now, in my opinion Walker is the better QB. Arch is obviously a star in the making.

Yes easily. Think Drew Brees in his prime. Honestly I think Arch’s balls float a bit

Well you don’t know much about arm strength based off of this inept comment
Drew always had a below-average arm as far as strength is concerned.

Nope.

That was always the perception because of his size & because he knew when to throttle up & down. It’s what made him so good.

Dude had zip in the intermediate & could make every deep ball throw in his prime

Zip on an intermediate pass that’s 15-25 yards is not something that indicative of a “strong arm” the average HS QB has “zip” on intermediate routes. That’s not taking anything away from Brees either. He had a good arm and it’s evident, but it was never a strong arm even during his younger days.

Sure it is

And I can video of 65yard throws in the air with little to no effort

Deep balls aren't typically where arm strength is usually showcased. For example, the deepest in-air throw from this most recent NFL season was by baker mayfield--and his arm is not particularly strong by any stretch. If you're going over the top, most QBs are gonna be able to get it deep enough 95% of the time.

Arm strength comes into play on throws to the oustide--those 10-15 yard outs to the field side, where you've gotta put it on a rope. Drew made most of his hay over the middle.

That's not to say that he had an actively weak arm in his prime--but arm strength was never a strength of his game.

This isn't true at all. Intermediate throws to the outside are exactly where arm strength is showcased. And forget HS QBs, there's only a handful of *college QBs* who can put a 12yd out to the field side (i.e. past the opposite hash) on a rope. That pass isn't even in most college teams' playbooks.

Brees had a strong arm in his prime. The last 4 or 5 years it wasn’t. As for baker mayfield he has a cannon and probably one of the top 10 strongest arms in the league.

Baker has a strong arm

Brees plenty strong enough

Not pat Mahomes. But ample enough to make every throw

Yeah i mean i totally agree that his arm was plenty strong enough for him to be incredibly successful. But on pure arm strength it was average.

No way. Here are 10 guys with definitively stronger arms than baker:

Josh Allen

Pat Mahomes

Trey Lance

zach wilson

sam darnold

carson wentz

trevor lawrence

justin herbert

matt stafford

aaron rodgers

(and imo there are a decent handful more. But with those 10 it's really pretty indisputable)

Edit: lmfao i would love to hear someone who's downvoted this specify which of these QBs they think have a weaker arm than baker
