How many top tier OL do you expect a small state like LA to produce per year?

Just something reasonably in line with the total number of NFL players we produce (which is obscene, loaded with DBs, WRs, RBs and to a lesser degree DTs, edge rushers and OGs). We always struggle to fill spots at LB and OT.

Strangely enough, considering the riches we have with the other skill positions we don't consistently produce nearly as many blue chip QBs, IMHO.

(ETA: Louisiana isn't a "small" state. The population is bigger than 25 states, DC and the territories. "Middling" would be very apt and "average" wouldn't be inaccurate.)

There are more smaller, faster people in general than 6'5" 300 pound people who can also bend and move laterally well enough to play OT

When is the last time LA produced a big time edge rusher?

I’d say Quincy Wiggins and Savion Jones have a chance to be really good. They weren’t necessarily 5* players out of high school, but they are both going to be great players.

Jones is good and was considered an edge by recruiting services but now would be considered a DL

Wiggins was ranked as a DL and plays DL
