Holy smokes if LSU misses out on literally all of the Louisiana QB prospects for ‘27 then that has got to be the biggest catastrophic failure by a recruiting staff I think I’ve ever seen. Somebody definitely needs to be demoted or lose their job for that level of failure. Especially when LSU is in dire need of a QB or even two for that cycle.

No way in hell some of the other states would let that many top ranked in state QB recruits leave the state.

I really feel like Hurley is gonna be the next QB after Nuss to come here, wait his turn here and gets 2 years or so as the starting QB at LSU.
I also think he has vast potential and could end up as another in a growing line of great LSU QBs.

He can start as a 6th year Sr when he is 22 years old.

We will. Just not our path forward right now to recruit, sign and develop a 5 star QB. Nuss was Top 10 and waited until his RS Sr year to start. Rare with all this immediate gratitude and money greed in today's college game. College is actually much worse than the NFL to day. Total free agency at any time of the year with zero limitations on bribes.

Maybe the QB's in that cycle is scared of competition. You can measure arm strength, 40 time, ht. wt. but you can't measure a man's HEART.

BK has to sign off on the NIL package. The staff can recruit their asses off, but in this day and age for a top QB, it is all on the HC to put the package together.

1000%

the pendulum swung way too far, and without some sort of intervention, by the government, i fear, there is no going back to even somewhat of a normalcy about transfers and essentially the "free agency" in college football

The government has absolutely no business in collegiate athletics, Trump doesn't need to worry about collegiate athletics, he needs to worry about The Epstein Files being released without major editing involved.
