hopefully we can find a replacement for him in 2 weeks. i highly doubt it though.
You dont mean at RB do you(not blasting, just curious)? Singleton is looking like he will be a part of this class.

i'd like to find a true rb. we are recruiting singleton as a fullback, so i don't expect him to get too many touches. i was looking forward to watching pratt and ford share the bulk of the carries in the future.

Richardson is the only other RB we would take in this class.

when we had pratt that was the case. now we have an open rb slot again and we're gonna have to find someone to replace it. we don't have the luxury anymore of denying guys other than tr anymore. i figure we probably already burned our bridge with michael, so i have no idea where the staff is gonna go now.

I would be happy if Miles pulled Michael away from aTm.

i agree it's too late...but we desperately need to have another tailback in this class to go along with ford.

Singleton doesn't want to play fullback, though. Do you think that LSU is going to offer him at RB? That would be a very stupid, reactionary thing to do. The guy struggled to get 5 yards per carry in high school ball, so if he plans to come in as a running back, he is more of a wasted scholarship than Rockey D.

That is incorrect. Singleton would be signed.

I am curious as hell to find out what Pratt was promised, to now feel he is betrayed. Was it Scott leaving? Was it the interest in another back? Or were they not upfront about a position move?

All just idle speculation with nothing better to do, but interested nonetheless.

There is no way he plays tailback in college, I saw him at STM last weekend and he is not a RB.

I agree with you entirely, but people seem to think that we are going to actually sign him.

However, he doesn't want to play fullback, and even if he did, I don't understand why we would sign two fullbacks in the same recruiting year, especially with a bit of a numbers crunch.

So why exactly do people think he is coming?
