Yep. Was the family so naive and stupid that they thought this situation would go unnoticed? And is Kiffin so sensitive to a recruits livelihood that he tells them to wait to "announce" that he's going to Tenn on a day in which he's the only player "signing", thus making him the primary target and ultimate spotlight guy for all of Thursay into the weekend?
Seriously, I couldn't have conjured a worse way to approach this situation then the way Lance, Orgeron, and Kiffin came up with. Those three guys would be lucky to stand toe-to-toe with Helen Keller's IQ score. Yes, they played us. And yes, they all came out looking like total fvcking scumbdicks in the end.

In the (LC) American Press today Jackson was qouted as saying that this is still home and he will be back for the holidays and summers. I guess he thinks we will miss him, or that his presence is important. I am afraid that he will learn that his decision would have been respected, if he had been straight up. ie the way Brent Lejune handled his decision several years back. That was handled with class. JJ=Lester Earl. No respect for him or how it was handled. Sorry, that is how I view it. He handled it poorly, even if nothing else is true but his contacting Tenn on Tuesday and LSU on Thursday. His Dad has been in the college game, he knows better.

I won't say you're an idiot, but you must be a masochist. Defending the indefensible is never a good idea, but trying to defend the Jacksons (Lance and Jantzen)on an LSU board today is like trying to convince the families of Jeffrey Dahmer's victims that, apart from the cannibalism thing, he's a pretty decent fellow.

The way I understand it, Kiffin didn't want JJ to announce on Wednesday, because he (Kiffin) thought that Darren Myles would opt to go somewhere else. After Myles committed to UT, then they let JJ announce. According to the rumors, UT already had a signed LOI from JJ when this all went down. That sort of deception should be against the rules.

Utah fan, Lance wasn't losing his job. I think the move to Miami (OH) was a good one for him. I like McNeeese but that is a far better place to advance your career. Especially with Montie Kiffin in your pocket.

You know what sucks I cant even find out any reason that Lance was mad at LSU. This was all just for personal game.
