Actually if you kept up with this board, most were saying this LOOOOOONG before he committed. If he's really the #1 player in LA, why did Hilliard win Gatorade Player of the Year. Hilliard, Rasco, Freak, and Chucky Hunter are juniors that are all better than Reed and will have much bigger impacts in college. This is not downing Reed. He's a very shifty player that can make things happen. Those 4 will be ranked as high as him, a couple will actually be higher ranked nationally.

Who cares? Reed will never play in a SECCG. Have fun, Trovon.

Mike Davis is more college ready than Reed, but Reed would help depth wise for sure. James Wright is just as good as Trovon, but is more polished than Trovon too. If we pick up wright, we will be fine.

Wright is the one that we need. He is the best La. WR.

Yeah Hilliard is also playing the position he'll play in college. Reed will not be a QB in college, in case you haven't noticed. If he had a good Qb to get him the ball, he's get all the talent in the world to be Mr. Football in Louisiana

Down year in recruiting for LA. I can't think of a year in recent memory that Reed would have been the top prospect.

Reed is a good WR. He just isn't great. Auburn has a void at WR, and Reed should help fill it. However, I imagine AU will find a guy next year that will bench Reed.

Even with the loss of Davis, Reed has very little chance of seeing the field at LSU in the near future. By his RSSR year he might get playing time at slot.

Like I said before he committed; Reed to Auburn was the best choice for Reed.

The people calling for him to switch now don't understand that. . .I hope he stays at Auburn for his own sake. LSU would accept his commitment, but it would only be for secondary reasons.

I like Justin Hunter. I think Davis is more NCAA ready, but Hunter kind of reminds me of D. Bowe. More raw talent.

I'd be ok if we ended up with Hunter/Wright and Fobbs. I'd like to get Reed, but I think AU has told him they will give him a shot at QB and I don't think we can compete with that.

I like him too, but he needs to put on some weight. His frame is like Tolivers was. Very thin.

Negative. Reed's stoked about the opportunity to play with Tyrik Rollison, who he thinks, after seeing him in the Army AA game last year, is the real deal.

FWIW, beaver gets a lot of inside info because of the AU blog he runs and he made it sound like it wasn't grades. Everyone is just assuming it is academic issues when they don't know the cause of the suspension.

You'll have a better chance at enjoying yourself on this site if you stop fricking with people. You're on an LSU recruit board talking shite. Go on the SEC Rant and rant away. Or, join the discussion here and have some input.

Davis>>>>>>>>>>>>>Reed. Sylve at South Plaquemines>>>>>>>Reed. No one gives a shite about Reed going to Auburn, but losing Davis to Texas hurts like hell. I think this staff deserves credit for their evaluation of recruits this year I just wish we would have been able to hold on to Davis. He is a man.

Not even close, I think we should just save schollies for next year and then rack up in state. I would personally pass on both he and Wright. Fobbs would be glorious as a DB.
