I don't think so, Maximus. Monk knows his way around these parts pretty good. There's only a small group of core posters who really make up this board, and he's one of them.

I know there's a bunch of guys who know their shite - who don't post much - but I can't speak about them. You frat pack guys like to jump in here-and-there and throw some bombs at players and ex-players and frankly that just doesn't go over that well with our kind b/c we are vastly pro-player. That's inherent in a recruitnik.

Clean, I like Monk, too. I trust your judgment saying that Byrd and Molton were comparable on the field. Monk implied (without saying) that there were some "intangibles" that allowed Molton to rise above Byrd, and not just a camp appearance.

Not directly comparing the kid to felons like Tim Pope, but are you in a position to confirm that there was more to the LSU decision than merely a talent evaluation and a camp appearance? Because, from what I know of the two of them, there was very little to separate them as wide receiver prospects...

No, I don't know about all that. I will take a look at both of their film though....at the request that was made earlier.

I know some players here-and-there around the state, but I don't have ties with recruiters or many coaches for that matter.
