I seeing Twitter reports from Ole Miss writers that Liggins is committing Front page of today's, Monday, Tupelo paper sports section says Liggins will announce his choice on sports talk radio at 6:30. Same 3, Ole Miss,Ms.State, and LSU. I'll come on here at 6:30 and report his choice. Talk is OM, we'll see. I'll report on here tonight, I listen to that station regularly as I drive home. Geaux Tigers.
What channel is that on in MS? In South Ms? If you know...

gotcha. still think it's a reach for LSU to project him as a DE or DT.

lol probably so.
whether or not this guy plays QB in the SEC he is a great talent to have on the team.
Does he stay at QB? Not sure. But the guy is a leader- his team hasn't lost a game in 2 seasons.
That's pretty good
From Espn:
"He is quick, fast and agile. He is like a power back with lateral agility and is a load to handle as a designated runner. However, the more you watch him as a passer the better he performs and the more you get convinced he could remain under center in any scheme."

I hope that if LSU signs him it will be for the purpose of moving him to DE or DT because he will never see the field at LSU as a QB

why would LSU take a kid, who has never been in a three-point stance, and try to convert him into a position he's never played?

I think most are concerned with a transition from QB to D line. You do not see that very often.

well, I think Rueben had been a WR first and only played QB as a sr. but yeah, QB to WR in college is a pretty common thing (Peter Warrick, Anquan Boldin, Hines Ward, David Palmer, etc.)

you don't...especially when a kid has never had to play with his hand in the dirt.
i think he stays at QB...whatever school he signs with.

Agreed.
And the chances of him getting good playing time at QB are better at Ole Miss or Miss St.

don't mind Tiger_n_ATL....he's just trying to subtly knock on someone.

It would be awesome to land this guy. Someone with this type of size and speed and athleticism will be nice to have on the roster for the utility.
I'm won't be convinced he is signing with LSU until NSD. If a kid comes to visit LSU and recruits for Ole Miss while he is here, I wouldn't pull it past him to leak and LSU and announce Ole Miss. I actually wouldn't put it past him to do anything.
If we don't get him I think we will be alright, if we get him, the versatility from an athlete like this will be more than welcomed.

Almost every kid has a lot of work to do before they play, either losing weight or gaining weight. Not to mention honing their skills and learning the playbook. Liggins is no diff than the next guy that wont see the field for a few years.
