If we land Ish and Lee, tomorrow is a win. We could take Garman Randolph who I think could be a really good TE. If we get Ish that takes away the biggest weakness I guess you could say of this class. We could even save 2 spots for next years class which could be loaded and numbers will probably get really tight. I felt better when Williams was still on board, but Ish and Lee is the biggest thing tomorrow.

We still don't have a true LT in this class, and it would be nice to get 2 of the DL.

For as much as people like to talk about rebuilding the trenches, we are no closer to doing that than we were the day Miles left.

Without Christian Williams and Parker LSU won't likely be able to finish #3 even with Lee and Sopsher.

It would take another DLman to jump Texas.

I think LSU closes with Sopsher, Lee, and Randolph and a 24 man class.

Will finish #4 or #5 on 247 composite.

The early signing day has spoiled some of you even more than I thought possible.

I can’t disagree here. A true tackle missing is troublesome. Hopefully Rosenthal and Wire are making big strides.

Prepare for a message from the mods reprimanding you for not pumping sunshine.

I think that's right. I think without Sophser we potentially fall down to #6.

I’m excited about Rosenthal was highly rated as a off tackle in HS. Remember he committed to Bama at that position!

Well, we 19 already in plus 1 (Fonua) that should be no problem. That's 20 and leaves up to 5 spots.

By all accounts, Lee is in. Also seems Parker is in if LSU is confident he qualifies and Hampton is in despite the risk to LSU he goes MLB.

That makes 23 with 2 spots to go.

It seems Moore is not coming, nor is Young. And with Williams seemingly going to Miami, that leaves only 1 real target to go.

Sopsher. He's in or he isn't. He's the only real unknown for the day. If that's disappointing, either way, so be it. He won't make or break LSU or the class.

Other than Sopsher, the only other targets would be Ward and Randolph. LSU could take 1 if Sopsher signs, both if not, or neither if they decide to save the spots (or the players decide to go elsewhere).

There's not a lot of mystery or opportunity to be disappointed. Either Sopsher signs or he doesn't. That's about it.

Parker is NOT coming. That is 100% certain now. He has issues with grades but on top of that he’s down to 230lbs people say so he won’t play OT and LSU doesn’t want him as a TE.

I'm fine with that. I agree that LSU should not want him at TE. How many TEs do we need? We have TK and (for now) Turner at TE and could take Randolph.

Without Parker I'd like the 20 we have now plus Hampton (risk and all), Lee, Sopsher, and Ward and/or Randolph. 23 plus one or both of these guys would be a great class.

I can see the value in saving a spot. Not everyone can play by Bama's rules and sign however many they want and process out those few 5s and 4s that didn't pan out.

Having followed recruiting the past decade +, i'm going in to tom only expected Lee and Hampton with a 20% Hampton goes elsewhere. The past tells me Ish goes to Bama after we get late night promising news.

Can even see Ish and his brother put on an Oregon or A&M hat and suprise everyone
