Maryland Newspaper Article
quote:

“To be honest, I think it was a lack of trust between the coaching staff at LSU and myself,” Jarrett said. “If I was going to go all the way to Louisiana, I would have to really trust those guys down there. If Coach Locks and his staff were at LSU, I probably would’ve went [there].”

Not interested in reading that but 2 things:

1. Diggs always has the cleat game on 100
2. Diggs can suck a bag of dicks

Zero shits given. The kid isn’t a Tiger. Let it go and move on.

Appropriate. A 1st round talent that played with shitty players and cost himself millions by going in the fifth round.

Good luck getting bowl eligible Rak. Thanks for not going to Bama where you actually would have been a threat.

Exactly. The competition here scared him off.

if we go ahead and turn this thing around and get Maryland back to what it used to be, players are going to buy into it

True but I think it helps to look at why to prevent it in the future.

You can't prevent stupid. Maybe the staff should have cut him loose earlier, but they weren't going to do anything that would have changed the outcome.

18 year old throwing shade on the coach of the #1 team in the country and coach of the year because he wasn’t interested in competing to earn his playing time.......makes sense these days.

Clearly. Why would you trust coaches who just ask that you be forthcoming during your recruitment and who don’t embrace your childish games

Can’t blame the kid for taking the under Armour money

The best season of Diggs' Maryland career was 7-6 and he was the 20th WR drafted in his class.

My thoughts are that he knew this all along and waited till the last minute to tell our coaches. This put us in a bind and makes him look like a piece of shite for doing that.

Maybe he can follow Locksley to Bowling Green or Western Michigan in a couple years. He won’t be there too much longer consistently going 3-9.
