How many safeties will LSU sign for 2013?

I think the consensus is they lose 2. If they make Mills a saftey they bring 2 in this year so it will be between 2 and 3 though 3 seems high to me. I guess it really depends on who we can get thats interested

I did hear that there was a decent safety in this signing class from Louisiana who we didnt get but I will be damned if I know who it is.

At least 2, hopefully. It is a need.
I'm hoping for:
1 blue chip OOS QB
5 DL
1 MLB
2 S
1 C
1 giant WR
1 blue chip RB(I think someone will leave early or attrition)
And then anything else. I think that would cover our needs.

Its a major need Loston is a senior and Reid could go pro early, therefore losing both our starting safeties

Not that it makes a huge difference, but Loston is only a junior.

Wouldn't be suprised to see us take a JC S this year. Pat Martin and Alonzo Lewis are candidates. Lewis could be playing WR in JC though so not sure about him but the staff had a ton of contact with him this fall to not be interested in bringing him in. If Reid stays then this will be irrelevent.

Doesn't matter, they need to recruit one for him. He isn't even the penciled in starter right now. So far he has been a disappointment. He is one concussion away from being on a medical ship too.
