Guaranteed 35 as of now.. That number will only go up depending on transfers out and 3 yr guys going pro.. We will save 7-8 for portal was initial plan..BUT after last Sat. They have HS kids that were just warm now are HOT to attend LSU.They won't turn down any HS kids they have evaluated as worthy to commit...SO I beleive they have plan.......That was BEST GAME I EVER ATTENDED...I'm 55 been to quite afew.......

But I think the reason it's difficult to answer the question in the OP is we don't know how many players will leave through various forms of attrition: eligibility, leave for the draft, transfer, etc., etc.
