This was asked on the SECRb

I'm gonna post my answer for you guys since I have seen him several times etc & was a HUGE fan:

quote:

He will be phenomenal...saw him several times in person, I'm gonna do a full breakdown later on & e-mail to Memphis

I am a HUGE fan & as a Bama fan who has watched our bigger physical LB's, I felt like he was just as physical regardless of his smaller stature

He is one of the most phenomenal athletes you will see on the field for his size & his on field play shows it as a sideline to sideline guy no matter the angle & when he gets there he delivers the hit like a sledgehammer. Has great football instincts, just needs work on technique. The other most impressive thing is how hard he goes on every single play, phenomenal player

TRUST ME when I say losing Torshiro hurt I'm sure, but Kwon was NO consolation (prize) to that, he will accomplish GREAT things at that OLB spot for LSU I'm sure of it

Good luck to him!!

GREAT PICKUP & wish him NOTHING but THE BEST at LSU!!!

Was that when you thought he had a scholly to Bama?

Just kidding. I like the kid and I hope he comes back strongly from his injury. After being Moffitized, I think he can be a 6'2 225 lb. wrecking machine.

We want kids who want to play at LSU. If you are fine with being mediocre, good luck at Texas

I really like the pick too. Been saying it for awhile. I think he fits perfectly in our system. He reminds me of our other LB commit Debo Jones only a little more physically imposing, IMO. Both are sideline to sideline players, great instincts, fast and are heat-seeking missiles.

It would be like grading their hit power in Madden with 99...

Wondering the same thing...what's your opinion on how he'll bounce back from the injury? Is he gonna lose a step or be less physical in your opinion?

Not at all man, from what I heard he had full range of motion & is way ahead of schedule...he'll be good to go for the Summer

horrific knee injury, but he was focused & determined to get back to 100% as quick as possible, some people that have his injury never play fball again...He'll be playing again by this Summer

Appreciate the info

I didn't think a Bama fan could make me feel better about our class.

I was looking at articles about him from before his injury and everyone was quite high on him. Was 5 star on ESPN and Scout.

This level of magnanimity from a Bama poster makes me nervous about this class as a whole.

J/K, in all seriousness, I think we got a lot of badassery in this class. Lb's and o-line will be sick nasty, and the guy(s) we got at qb, wr, rb, s all look solid to me.

Thing that actually SAVED him is his size...at his size (208 when injured) not a lot of weight to carry on the knee, all muscle, also structure was still in tact no plates or pins had to be inserted, like Hightower had a plate & his agility was never the same.

With Kwon doc was able to really clean it & get scar tissue out & repair like his injury should be to keep mobility & agility.

I've seen SOME of a few players, Kwon is an asset at LB simply because of his ability to have range at every level & his fball IQ & instincts are off the freaking charts. As long as the rehab continues well (way ahead of schedule) he will add more muscle weight (now up to 215) to strengthen the muscle around that knee. The only thing I would worry about with him to possibly re-injure because of HIMSELF trying to rush back, since he is that "Go hard or go home" mentality, CLM will have to take his time & MAKE SURE the range of motion is there & he can hit etc, because if it were up to him he would be hitting in practices right now, injury be damned, but that's the type player he is JMHO

You and other Bama posters have been much more bearable and reasonable today than many of our own, um, 'fans'.

Thanks for the insight. I appreciate the info.

Just trying to help you further understand a player you landed from this state, that I have 1st hand knowledge of

I'm a Cajun like I'm sure you are

We are both people...you are no better than me...I'm no better than you because of what school each of us roots for

Hopefully someday you can learn that...
