Curious if the Vegas camp in July is a good investment for a friend whose son deep snaps (pretty good from what I saw)

That would work. I assume you’re talking about Rubio.

I wouldn’t go to ranking camp first, unless he’s polished up and ready to go.

Kohl’s and Rubio are the two main ranking services for snappers.

There are instruction camps as well, and those coaches often serve to help with recruiting. Hammer kicking is an example. He doesn’t rank, so it’s a different vibe.

If he’s good and wants to get ranked I’d tell him to look at a winter showcase through Kohls, and hope to pick up an invite to Underclassmen camp in Palm Beach in January. Or go to a Rubio camp and similarly get invited to Vegas.

ETA: A great place to start would be the Hammer camp at Dutchtown on Nov 20th. https://hammerkickingacademy.com/one-day-camps

Rubio is 100% the way to go. I've had 3 kids who I knew/worked with who got offers after working with Rubio.

Sailer/Rubio offer ranking and recruiting services that produce results. No doubt.

Most specialists likely work with a year around coach (camp with them 3-4 times a year) and also go get ranked a couple of times a year with a service like Rubio.

Specialists pretty much design the off-season around peaking at one of the national invitational ranking camps (July, Vegas or Gatlinburg). There are January invitationals as well…so you have to go to a winter showcase or fall camp to get invited to those (Vegas or Palm Beach). Doing well in January can earn you a July invite for sure.

It’s a rabbit hole.

Thanks for all the info. Lots to take in. I guess it's Dutchtown then. Thanks for the help.

My brother could have played many years in pros as deep snapper. Very underrated but needed position

He’s going to love it.

Here’s Adam’s Twitter, https://twitter.com/HKA_Tanalski, you can see how much he works with snappers. He’s setting up all of those visits you see him retweeting. Impressive.

That camp was my son’s first step as well.
