How do our 2 qb signees this year compare to Bryce Young?

If either one of them was Bryce Young talent, the other wouldnt have come to LSU.
TJ Finley has the arm strength but is not mobile. MJ has a decent arm, is mobile enough but understands the game a lot more than TJ.
Bryce young is a special dual threat talent who also knows the game..not looking forward to facing him. He wont beat out Fat Mac this season but look for saban to get him in a lot of games and have various packages built just for him.

If Young is 5'11" then Elias Ricks is 6'5". Looked like a father and son when they were standing next to each other at the AA bowl.

He is around the same height as Drew, Russell, and Kyler. You don’t have to be 6’4” if you have a high football IQ and a live arm.

Young is an elite talent. Best QB prospect since Fields and Lawrence. He's also not 5'11". Both can be true.

Young is an elite passer but will be interesting to see how well he can translate without being a superior athlete at his size. Definitely think he's a 5-star, but #1 overall was a bit of a reach for a guy his size and not having elite athleticism to make up for it like Russell Wilson or Kyler Murray.
But in terms of how Johnson/Finley compare to Young, we'd trade both them plus whoever else for Young in a heartbeat
