agree-----i plan on averaging our class ranking from espn, rivals, scout, 24/7, and maxpreps and the true recruiting analysis will probably fall somewhere in the middle.
This is what I usually do as well. We should fall somewhere between 5-7.

...or opportunity. Some kids end up in a great spot, or end up getting more playing time because of injuries, or become better players because they had time to develop before being thrown into the mix, or never got a shot because the guy in front of them was better or was perceived as better by the coaching staff.
When you think of success, think about Tom Brady. No indication whatsoever that he would overtake veteran Drew Bledsoe as the QB of the New England Patriots...not until Drew had his lungs blown out by a linebacker while heading out of bounds that fateful Sunday afternoon in 2001. Nobody even knew who Brady was in 2001. Then you have guys like David Carr, Alex Smith, and Tim Couch. Go back and see what all of the analysts had to say about those guys in the months leading up to the draft. Joe Montana comparisons were a dime a dozen and each had the brains and the arm to reset every NFL passing record.

The guys that post and look at this board year round will be alright with this class as long as we dont lose any of them to other schools. And The other guys will just have live in their own misery until next season.
Last years class wasnt the best, but a solid group of players were key to our 11 wins. I see no diff with this class. All part of a group of young players that havent tasted a chamiponship that have the want for more.

That's why I called them recruitards. I'm guessing they'll be at least 5 threads started by them.... maybe more depending on how the chips fall.
