How do y’all see Peveto to TAMU impact our Houston recruiting?
This is a bigger deal than most make it out to be IMO.

Peveto is a good recruiter but he's not good enough to shut LSU out of Houston

We will still land some kids from Texas and Houston. I'd worry more about Brewster than Peveto. One is legendary as a recruiter and its not Peveto

I think it's a legitimate concern. Peveto is a very good recruiter.

The way herman cleaned up Houston this year I would worry about him. UT hasn't recruited Houston that good since Mack Brown was the coach.

Agree. With UT, TAMU, TCU and OU already legitimate programs, the state of Texas is shrinking. East Texas (Golden Triangle ie Tony Brown), LaMarque/Texas City and Northshore should be the focus for this staff. Northshore should be covered with LSU staff daily.
Major and Baby Briles will pull in an occasional big fish at UH as well.
Peveto being from Orange doesn’t help.
