Just when I feel like my head is going to explode from an excess of Bama pole polishers wearing LSU apparel, RedField drops a little truth on y'all. RedField, thank you for that.
To all the Mini-Me worshipping fake LSU fans, get a good grip on reality. Bama ain't all that. If we had the media assistance, holding penalty "look the other way" policy, and the SEC scheduling tzar an Alum and avid "supporter" the last few years LSU would have yielded one or more additional crystal balls.
It is what it is people. But don't pretend it's something it's not.
FYI...I made it to page two before I couldn't read on without posting.,
Hope you all "Have a great day."

Yeah. Landon Collins seems really pissed about his "playing time" (even though he averages 20+ snaps per game). His response to someone saying he would be starting at LSU now: @ALLAMERICAN_2: “@benjaminstalter: @ALLAMERICAN_2 would be starting right now at LSU”but I wouldn't have a championship ring #rt16
Wtf you expect him to say
Gee shucks, I just ain't good enough lol
A warrior would rather be in the fight, not steal trinkets off of dead bodies after the fight is over....

He would have a ring this year!

Hootie needs to come to LSU and be a Louisiana legend like the past LSU safeties, I.e. Laron Landry, Chad Jones. He has the potential to be that good and would be a tiger favorite.

Exactly! I was pissed at first with his defection, but seeing that he hasn't played much yet and comments like that twitter crap tells me a lot about his character that i wouldn't want at LSU. I want someone, if given the choice, would chose to playing over some sparkly bling.

Because I'm sure if he came to LSU, and they beat Bama for the Natl. Title, and he made those same comments, you would laugh and agree with him....

It's not a given LC would be starting at LSU
He made his choice and it's water under the bridge....he's the enemy during football season
Same as any of the other kids who choose someone besides LSU
Just understand LSU will be fine either way

I agree LSU is fine....my point is that the posters making fun of him for his comments are the same fans that would defend him if he were at LSU making the same comments....
Just be one way is all I'm saying!

But he's not here.....so who cares?
That argument would be the same
With any player at any school. Why is it you have to feel like Bama needs defending Lee?
This is an LSURB....of course some things posted will be Pro LSU......it's no different on other teams boards

Everyone that thought people were locks aren't locks like they thought.
When we started working on the 2014 prospects thread, I thought CRob was the surest LSU commit but I also thought Gerald Willis III was a lock to Bama. Couldn't have been more wrong.
Recruiting is more national than ever. States have trouble holding on to their top guys.
Of the 19 guys in 247Composite's top 50, the #1 prospect from these 13 states is leaving:
LA, NJ, VA, GA, CA, TX, MD, FL, AZ, NC, IL, SC, OK & KS
That means the top four prospect producing states, FL, CA, TX & GA are all losing their best guy. It's definite a trend. We're not used to losing guys, but we've been producing more really good kids of late. That means more schools spend more time here recruiting.
The good thing is LSU is getting top guys from other states.
LA #1 Crob-AL
NJ #1 J. Peppers-(Mich)
VA #1 D. Hand-(Mich/AL/FL)
GA #1 L. Carter-(FL)
AL #1 M. Humphreys-AL
CA #1 A. Jackson-(FL)
TX #1 T. Brown-(LA)
MD #1 D. Prince-(FL)
FL #1 S. Michael-GA
AZ #1 K Allen-TX
NC #1 W. Grier-FL
TN #1 J. Hurd-TN
IL #1 C. Garrett-(LA)
OH #1 M Lattimore-(OH/UK)
MI #1 M. McDowell-MI
MS #1 R. Taylor-MS
SC #1 C. Miller-AL
OK #1 D. Cornwell-AL
KS #1 B. Smith-(TCU/AL/A&M)

anyone see the article on NOLA.com? Kinda douchey doncha think? Guess Sims likes to be thought of as one of "the Big Three."

With competent QB play we would've stolen at least one of Bama's titles. They're on a hot streak like Ohio State/Miami/USC/Florida were... and the great thing about streaks is they all come to an end.

Of course there are other factors at play that I did not address. Was already writing a book. I truly wish the kid well, and I hope he never regrets his decision. Regret is an absolutely bitter mistress that can last a lifetime. I think it is so funny that "The Hardware" and playing with Sims are what were most important to CRob. Was kind of a let down. Thought more of him, but how much can you really blame a kid for going after what he wants(even if it is ill advised). He is a kid after all. But hey, to each his own. I have excite about the idea of a Willis/CRob battle for a few years. Also very funny when considering LSU is in a better position to win the hardware over the next four years, but what do I know

For someone who chose Ala over LSU and has caused such misery to the faithful over the past two days, I hope the kid never lives up to the hype and ends up miserable there. (However, I do not wish him any harm due to injury.) And I wish the same fortune for any of the other LA 5-stars who go there or anywhere else but LSU (but especially for any who to decide to go Gump). Finally, I wish a fate even worse for Cameron Sims who played a role in CRob's decision. I hope he never gets past 4th string in the rotation and drops out of school after one year of RS and two years where he catches a total of 6 passes.

It's one thing to commit to play for AL ... it's a free country and you gotta do what you gotta do. IMO, though, it's a dick move to take it a step further and actively recruit other players for your instate school's main rival.
