“I am honestly just looking for the school that can best prepare me for the next level,” Jones said. “I know Alabama has sent out Mark Barron and guys like that, but LSU has probably sent the most defensive backs to the league that I know of. My favorite is Patrick Peterson because I love how big and fast he is for his size.”

It's probably been done for a while. Sims committing was the straw that broke the camel's back. Cam tells Sims he's going to Bama, but wants to drag it out, word gets out, Shows hears about it and tells Cam to end it due to it being a distraction. Hootie's known, hell, he's probably the one who brought Cam to the camp in July.

Uh, in that quote, Hootie plainly states that the biggest thing he's looking for in a school is preparing him for the league. He then goes on to mention that LSU has more DB's in the league than anyone else, and then names Patrick Peterson as his favorite. That sounds really fricking positive for LSU.

I understand his comments are pro LSU....but don't for once think he's completley closed the door on Alabama.....
