Yep, that's that the secret Gump REC Illuminati hand sign that has been disguised as the peace sign for the last 50 years. Any and everyone who flashes the peace sign is a Bama lock and thinks Saban is just dreamy.

Cute. Kids today are not into the peace sign. However they are into hand signs. Many LSU recruits have flashed the L. Some Louisiana recruits have flashed the victory sign of which I speak. All of them that did have Bama offers. Texas, TCU, Oregon, Miami and many other schools have hand signs their recruits use.

Just because you did not think of it and did not pick up on it does not mean the observation is irrelevant or bizarre. Or that you need to be an a-hole about it. Nor does it mean I am a troll. I made an observation and made a comment about it.

I realize recruits throw up signs of schools that they don't attend like RR with the U. But generally that is when they are on a visit to the school. The ones I speak of are voluntarily given in other locales like Hootie's at the end of the interview, the ones at the Opening and McMillan's while at OSU. All I have found had Alabama offers. Hootie and LF flashed it at the Opening.

It could just be the 50 year old peace sign of which you speak. Maybe just coincidence that those throwing it all have Bama offers. And a Bama fan throwing the same sign.

As for the offer of a cookie, no thanks. Just remember we all are Tiger fans and have a right to participate in this wonderful forum. It is not exclusive to you super intelligent big timers. So let us have a voice as well. We might have something to offer. I have some experience in reading individuals' body language and detecting truthfulness. It is an integral part of my profession.

You are fricking crazy. You really think that people throwing up two fingers is some sort of secret Bama sign.

What about Speedy Noil doing it in pictures? That kid isn't even interested in Bama and I've seen 5-6 pictures were he does it.

So I guess every brotha or little white girl who does the same thing on Instagram is a secret Bama fan. Dog, you are way fricking paranoid.

Personally I am worried, there is both good and bad you can take from that interview but it's just gnawing feeling that the external forces trying to get him out of the state are working way overtime at it and I think in the end it makes a difference. I certainly hope not but just get that sick feeling about this one.

Think you're right. Hope you're wrong...

Hootie Jones Interviewi agree with you 100%. the need is there for him to come to LSU and play early. The whole DBU and all the players we send to the nfl. people talk about landon's decision but the truth of the matter is Landon has a national championship. kids look at saban and see a real opportuntity to get that ring and go to the nfl. I am not saying i agree. I am trying to look at it from a different perspective.

all that being said, you forgot luther davis, whose pride is still stinging over lack of LSU's affection during his recruitment. There's no telling what Jones has been offered, or will be shortly. And its only wishful thinking that anything will come of the infractions Alabama has committed. It will be a sad day in LSU football if both stating safeties at Bama are near sure lock all-americans from La. slowly but surely Satan is getting our top players. winning national championships will cause this.

FWIW BOL dropped some nuggets today and apparently Hootie almost committed to them for the past 2 weeks. They said the only thing that held him off was the LSU staff. I think it's a load of crap myself.

Don't know, I'm not VIP on there either. I took a peek at the Bama recruiting thread on their board here. Guys post a summarization of the nuggets there.

Well then, why does he keep visiting LSU? Riddle me that Gumps.

And if it's true he just needs to do it and follow his butt buddies so LSU can focus on other prospects.

I did see their write up on Landon Collins adapting well to Free Safety. Not saying he won't be good but they were playing Georgia State for fricks sake!

That's my thought as well. He hasn't visited since the summer and even tho he keeps in contact with them, he's been to LSU at least 3 or 4 times. I'm not buying that one.

I'm not saying they made it. Their staff might have been pressing for a commitment and they could have reported as he almost committed. I'm jus not buying the only thing that is holding him back is the LSU staff. He seems to flipping back and forth on whether to commit to us or them. He's torn. I'm jus saying he's not as close to commiting as they think

To sell subscriptions? Seriously though, it doesn't make any sense. According to that quote, he's been close to committing to Bama the last two weeks. What in the frick could the LSU coaching staff possibly tell him to keep him from committing? Why would he keep visiting? It doesn't add up.

If he does go to Bama and it's because of the Cams then we need to evaluate some people's jobs. That would mean because we didn't offer one top 100 receiver we would lose two 5 star, consensus immediate impact players. Two to our archrival. frick all that no package deal bullshite we employ. It's not like we're offering someone's entire fricking highschool to get one player like Clemson did with Nkemdiche. It would be one 10 ten WR to get two other five stars. That shite would seriously make me question Frank's ability as a recruiter.

"He cares more about the players, I guess, to her, but she looks at stuff different than I look at stuff"

This is his most tell tale comment: While referring to Les, his mom is saying he cares more about the players, BUT she looks at stuff different than I look at stuff. That is the one comment that may imply he's leaning bama.

do you think the guys that cater to the fanbase of the program that signs the #1 class in the nation every year needs to blow smoke up their asses to sell subs?

if they lose hootie, who gives a shite, they'll sign another top S in his place.

It could just as easily imply that he thinks his mom is wrong, and he believes Les (well defensive coaching staff at LSU) is also educational. Implying he doesn't understand how his mom is looking at him in that way... cause he sees DBU at LSU and knows by the time he leaves here, he can know all he needs to get that check on sundays.

Just saying...
