Get his #7 jersey ready. Hootie will be a Tiger.

Has he really even been to every game? I think he has only been to 2 including Arlington. Either way, we likely won't know where he ends up for a month, so stop reading so far into things. LSU will have a great class this year with some awesome DBs
He's been to every home game except for the Kent State game. He had a game that night so he couldn't make it. He'll be in BR this weekend and I bet money he'll be there for Furman too. Wouldn't surprise me if the coaches can get him to OV during the bye week before the Bama game. I'm not really worried about Hootie. He's been like Cam, except in reverse. Says he's 50/50, yet visits one school many more times than the other. I think he's been to Alabama like 3 times all year, compared to 8-9 for LSU. Just like Cam, except he's like Bizzare-Cam. And if everyone remembers correctly right before Robinson said he was announcing he had 4 straight Crystal Ball predictions to LSU. Hootie has had 4 straight to Bama. It's eerie how similar, yet different their recruitments have been.

oddly enough, one of those guys went back and changed his prediction to LSU. His last four are: Bartow, Warren and Barton Simmons ( who predicted CRob and Hootie to lsu during LSUs last camp) have all picked bama and C Walker(works for same site as Bartow) has gone back and changed his prediction to LSU.

what are they 'insiders' saying about hootie's decision? are they just as baffled as us?

Interdasting. I've noticed that Warren and Walker usually follow the lead of Simmons. I've learned to bank on it whenever Simmons makes a prediction, Warren won't be far behind. When Simmons predicted LF to Bama a while back(he has since changed his prediction to LSU) Warren did the same. This shows the flaw in the Crystal Ball system. Motherfrickers with no info on the situation can just predict him to whatever school they want.

every one of our insiders were very confident on him early on and that has changed as of late.
I think our insiders are very hesitant to admit we trail for an instate guy and the fact that pretty much every one is becoming more and more pessimistic about where we stand with him is pretty telling.
Couple that with bama's guys growing more and more confident, that bodes well for bama IMO.

He's a must get. And it's a no brainer for Hootie - he will play a lot if not start next year at LSU. And over the last 10 years LSU safeties have finished their careers as some the most popular LSU players of the era, i.e. Laron Landry, Chad Jones, and Eric Reid. Hootie, come on down to Baton Rouge and become the next Louisiana legend. All you doubters who have no info need to stfu.

also i think us offering CJ hampton last month may have been a small indication of our coaches concerns. not sure if that had any traction with Hampton. i'm sure we didnt offer just for the hell of it.
If lsu really wants hootie (which i know they 100%do) they have to get to the root of his hesitation and fix it. I personally dont think Ron cooper was a better db recruiter

The last crystal ball on 247 for Hootie was LSU!
The last for Clifton Garret was Tennessee!
Why won't they all like us at the same time damnit!?

irregardless of what hootie decides, we HAVE to get stud out of north la. he just cannot do the job we need. the most obvious answer is to get orgeron and move ensminger to admin. move te coaching to cam.
I know many people don't like orgeron but he would improve our overall recruiting greatly.

Man something has to be done.. you are right if we get him or not. We shouldnt be battling with our own elite in state talent with other schools. LSU has too much too offer so there seems to be something lacking with our recruiting efforts up north LA. Put frank wilson on the entire state

Didn't he tell cam we will prob not be playing at the same school? Agree with his actions. He wants to be part of this class and knows he will get early playing time. Also pos ee. Don't sweat it!

But the last coach in his ear before his decision is made is Nick Saban. Are you comfortable with that.. I'm not

because les will not talk to him that whole week after his visit
Posted on 10/11/13 at 9:42 am to bayou blazer
you don't think Les will talk with Hootie during that week?

CEO is a D-coord and his ties are south la. Stud is a OL coach that recruits north la.
if chavis were to leave and we could get CEO and assign him north la, it would prolly be better than stud, but we can't just swap out stud for CEO.
If we loose out on hootie, I really want someone to explain to me wtf Raymond is getting paid for.
