unless things have changed in the last 7 days, Hootie has to be leaning to lsu
paraphrasing him right before Cam's announcement,"
Me and C-rob have very different opinions on our top school"
He's been to two or three LSU games unofficially this year... one on the road in Dallas and Auburn(in the rain)
His favorite player is patrick peterson, his number he wants is number 7 -- currently open ... and I'm pretty sure he's an early enrollee
likes saban as a coach, but mom likes mile's style of coaching... huge
Big clue for me -- Bama has made denzel Devall or maybe just devall himself, call him EVERY DAY... if he was all bama ... why would that be necessary?
Said in the video I posted last week, " people telling me where they want me to play, won't have an affect on my decision" ---- assuming that's true and taking his word... means C-rob influence won't be as effective
good friends with john diarse- also recruited by bama, who loves lsu and whom hootie has said," john just tells me to do what's best for me"
what more info do you want?
If he picks Bama, then so be it. Following the crumbs being left like we did for C-rob and most other recruits... actions speak louder than words. .. and so far he's done nothing to show he's all bama... or all anyone... but it does suggest LSU's going to be tough to beat with him

I still don't see how this is a hard decision for him.

This sounds like he is going to bama...
if I am reading the tea leaves.

Its from a David Folse article on BBI.

that's pretty standard advice actually. Alot of kids dont try to recruit other players very hard like RS10 and some others have done.

he's not choosing a school because of patrick peterson

he actually said within the last week or two that he and his mom dont neccessarily agree about what's more important: coaching or a figure father as HC, and most everyone believes mom wants him closer to home.

you have a link to this? I doubt bama makes Denzell do anything. On top of that he's recently stated he has more friends playing for Bama than he does playing for LSU.

also means he wont listen to the local pressure pushing him to LSU.

Ok. Let me get this straight
1)He sets his announcement date for Nov 15th
2) since then has decided to go to Bama 2 times before he actually announces.. (Tenn game and LSU game).
3)There was no mention of him attending any more LSU games before Nov 15th. (even if the only game would be furman) lol
Even Stevie wonder can see that writing on the wall.

there is mention of him attending the lsu-tamu game AFTER his announcement

quite the opposite. The title is "Hootie Jones' actions indicate LSU"
But looking at what has transpired in the last few days his actions indicate more bama.

the only indication y'all are going by is that he is going to Bama twice, one of which is the LSU game?
Posted on 10/16/13 at 1:13 pm to bayou blazer
so hes been to every lsu home game this year but 1, plus an away game in dallas....why wouldnt he visit alabama if it is the other school he is considering to make sure picking LSU is the right choice for him.
this is what any rational human being would do, look at options before making the biggest decision of his life.
this sky is falling mentality is ridiculous.

so red you think at this point he is still leaning LSU or 50/50?
i thought we had him. now with his decision date being set (which kinda says he has an idea of where he is going) he chooses to visit bama 2 times in less than a month. Does that not make you the least bit cautious?

Please do not bring rational thoughts here, many cannot handle it...

did 4 visits to lsu in a month make you feel good about him? because thats what just happened.
if it ended today he would be going to lsu imo

with him already visiting LSU so much, and now he has set his date, which you yourself admit probably means that he has his mind already made up, maybe him visiting Bama is just him trying to see if Bama can convince him not to go to LSU one last time
if he truly already has his mind made up, then I think he is all LSU
Posted on 10/16/13 at 1:26 pm to redfieldk717
honestly... yes. him visiting us made me feel real good.
