Chicken makes a post about him going to Texas and all of a sudden Texas insiders feel good. Hmm. Maybe Chicken is right. I like Shea but this situation is fishy how it's going down.

Most people had no clue who he was outside of a name. Only people who really follow recruiting, and that is a small pctg of the fan base. Hell, most who follow recruiting had no clue how good he could possibly be. Hell, some people didn't think he had a commitable offer for a while before he committed. He blew up at the Memphis Nike camp I believe.
If he's gone, he's gone. good luck to him and on to next year's class.

Well, maybe someone should tell Herron that none of those coaches will be at Texas next season after they have another mediocre year.

Another dissatisfied recruit who was perhaps told that he would be the main man only to hear that we are still pursuing another like him.
I have a bad feeling that we will lose both because of these egos conflicting.

If Herron's feelings were hurt because we courted another DE.........he really has problems........You play two on the field; Mingo and Montgomery had no problems.

I have faith that after talking with his parents he will show integrity and honor his commitment to the coaches that he and his family have formed a relationship with over the past 6mos-1 year. I am not going to crap on a player who is an LSU commit until there is a reason to and speculation isn't a reason to.

Who knows what Texas is telling him. It's a dirty game and the timing is such that LSU doesn't have much time to recover.

Chicken wouldn't just troll and create speculation on his own forum. He'd be breaking his own rules. Secondly, shortly after Texas insiders say they have a good chance. You can laugh at what they say all you want but more often than not, they're right. Mom might come around.

But the two surprise booms screwing over their other schools is fine? Either we accept the nature of recruiting or we advocate LSU being held to the same moral standard IMO.

WEll if you call possibly losing Herron fun i am not buying.I do not care who is supposedly going to surprise us, right now i would care about who we got. Losing Herron is a big blow if this happens.

No one (that I have seen) said that the potential booms were from kids currently committed to other schools. So your premiss doesn't make sense.

I know it's a blow but we can't dwell on it that wont change the outcome it will just have us all crazy in the head and paranoid we need to live our life and move on that's all I'm saying

I'm wondering if LSU has another DE coming and trying to keep it quiet from Herron. Hence the sudden trip and possible commit. He could be waiting to see what we get..
