I think the point most are missing is that even though he may commit to bama Friday that doesn't mean LSU gives up on him and has no chance to flip him. Lets see if this offense can get in gear and he has a little more to think about when signing on the line.

Once again. We have been recruiting him since 8th grade. What makes you believe what you just said.

Haha, really Mr Internet tough guy?
First you fail to read not only one, but two of my posts completely.
Then you insult me based on your misreading and tell me to grow up and suggest a hobby.
And you follow that up by wanting to get in a dick measuring contest about post count.
Hopefully you'll learn to read better by the time you graduate middle school. Someone asked a question about a certain perception. I explained why it exists. Didn't say I advocated it. Even went out of the way to write such.
Have a great day.

i think he signs with Arsenal.

They're not. There's depth so there's no backup plan. LSU obviously wanted him because he's from Louisiana and he's good.
Really, are you seriously that stupid. He's good and from Louisiana so that is why they are after him. If you listen to the analysts right now is as good a LT as they have seen in sometime and if he stays healthy a certain first rounder. LT's are a premium position in football not just on the offensive line. This kid has star written all over him and can seriously help the program he commits to, that is why we want him so badly. Being from Louisiana is just supposed to make the recruiting of him a lot easier for LSU.
Yeah our depth at left tackle was staggering last year when Chris Faulk went down, or is your memory that bad!!! And one good year out of Collins this year and most of the experts are predicting he will declare early. Oh yeah we have so many 5 star LT's that are certain 1st round picks in the fold we shouldn't recruit this guy. So basically with your own quote you blew your own theory out of the bag that we will get someone else just barely below CRob's talent.

Oh yeah? How about last year? What top recruits from Louisiana did LSU "lose?" Tim Williams? There were some issues there.
Already stated here is the list just to Bama over the past few years "Lacy, Collins, Williams, Sims & CRob" that is a pretty strong list no matter what issues you perceive a recruit to have. I didn't count Reed to Auburn or McKnight or any of that crap.
I clearly stated that we are starting to see a trend of losing nationally ranked in-state top recruits to our hated rival "one team" that we need to start paying attention too. If you can't see this is alarming than you are blind and stupid.

All true. But what type of POS LSU fan comes to the LSU board and says if he were a recruit he would pick Bama?
I've already said if I were offered by every school in the country, I'd pick Stanford over LSU all day every day.
And there is the problem with trying to reason with an individual stating he is an Idaho fan. Then go on the Stanford board and give them your thoughts of wisdom, because us true LSU fans don't want to read your sh*t on this board.

FWIW, I think this a dumb reason to depend on. Sims could easily be processed out in a year if Robinson doesn't go there and they really only offered him to lure CRob there.
Exactly. If Sims isn't good enough to play there otherwise (without CR's committment), they'll offload him next year without a second thought. In that case, how exactly has CR actually helped his friend?

Did I miss the announcement? Did Cam already make his commitment? Also, did National Signing day get moved to August 28th?
I already wanted Cam to commit to LSU, but now I want it even that much more so I can watch the backtracking and bullshite from some panic mongers.

But arent we also grabbing insane talent from other states?
Can't have it all.

The fact that Cam looks like he will commit on Friday instead of waiting till the last minute is a good sign for LSU IMO. Why would he want to hear everyone's B.S. all year about going to Bama instead of waiting till the last minute?

I completely agree, look the sky is not falling in anyway. This is the greatest decade in LSU football and I personally don't see that fading over the next decade. LSU recruiting is doing fantastic. All I am pointing out is what is seeming to be a disturbing trend and that is we are starting to lose nationally ranked top in-state recruits to one team over the past 5 years. That team happens to be our biggest and most hated rival at this point in LSU's football program. What we can do about it, I don't have any answers, I don't think anyone does. But to not realize it and recognize it definitely will not get us any closer to having the answers and solving the issues.

Robinson
Collins
Devall (who didn't want to play 4-3)
Anyone else worth mentioning?
WHOA!!!! 3 kids!!!!
Excuse me while I go punch this into excel and come up with a graph to show this disturbing trend in Pie Graph form.

Are you intentionally ignoring Williams, who was ranked in the Rivals 150 and was a Top 5 Louisiana player?
So -- if Robinson goes -- that is four Top 5 Louisiana players lost to Bama in the last three years, and the BEST player in Louisiana lost to Bama in two out of the last three years. (They got the top two highest rated Rivals players in Louisiana in 2012).
But that's a good thing, right? No cause for concern. Losing the best player in Louisiana to our dreaded divisional rival in two of three years is apparently just fine.

he's not coming here. why would he choose to follow 4 Bama coaches on twitter this week...

You're making a big stink out of one LA recruit defecting to Bama every year? LSU still ends up with most of the other elite talents. Can't get all of them.
Now if there were some mass exodus from most of the in-state elite talent to Bama, maybe that would be a cause for concern. But hey, not every player wants to play for LSU. When Bama wasn't on top, they were going to USC. When USC was down, they were going to Florida State. You get the point.
And to answer your question, no there isn't a cause for concern. CLM has a tight net around this state but some are still going to get out no matter how well we do.
