I don't think Sophser is truly a position of need. He's a NT all the way, we need those 3-4 ends that can dominate games. I think getting a guy like Nathan Pickering to flip would be a bigger get than Sophser.

TIFWIW, but a buddy of mine who has some connection to the program told me we are putting on the full court press and Sopsher will be a tiger and he wouldn’t be surprised if he brought friends...

I hope coach Orgeron is making significant inroads in Amite. Tons of talent in that area. I just do not want to see LSU have to waste a scholarship on his brother to just get ish. After Emery, I believe only 5 spots left.

See this posted regularly. Saban does not recruit a player to keep him from LSU or any other school. Hopefully LSU does not do it either.
