Strange that Trent has acted so early on Bo. Usually they wait until after grade are in, unless Bo has stopped going to class. Anyone know?

Because the suspension is not indefinite, it's permanent

im sure Trent has access to players grades, whether grades are "in" or not.

it would work out great if both are players we dont need, and open up some scholarships

I predict Bo is gone and Chris Bass is knocked down to walk-on, if he returns.

Bo could also have the option of returning and paying his own way. He is from Baton Rouge. He could live at home.

TJ told the team it was a privilege to wear the purple and gold. That no one guaranteed a scholarship. That he was going to sign 4 and the rest of the spots are open. That practice started last week with conditioning at 5am. Be there or he will find someone who will.

Maybe Spencer never made it to the 5 am conditioning

Maybe TJ thinks that this is the only way to motivate spencer to actually get his act together. If his peers, not just guys on the team, are pressuring him to not blow his situation, maybe that is the only way to get it through to him. I would like for Bo to still be on the team but if he can't do the little things asked of him, TJ won't let him continue to reap the benefits of playing basketball.

Now, there will be a bunch of new faces. But that is not turnover. That is filling scholarships that were not being used.

Poor word choice on my part. I was referencing the difference in players from one year to the next.

This upcoming season's starters could potentially all be guys that weren't on the team last year except for Storm.

Prediction for next season if that is the case?

I honestly don't know enough about all the guys we have incoming and what to expect of them.

If we are a bubble NCAA tourney team (if they keep the field at 65) then that seems feasible. 18-20 wins.

There are guys on this board that know much more about basketball recruiting than me, however. They can probably give a more realistic opinion.

Our success will depend on how the young guns perform.

With a possible lineup of:

PG-Stringer
SG-Ralston Turner/Dotson
SF-Derenbecker
PF-Storm Warren
C-White

Pretty strong team on paper.

the frontcourt should be solid with white and storm starting. green can play at the 5 off the bench and you've got harris' versatility to move along the front line(i think he starts at the 3) courtney and ludwig are there too. i think one of them will redshirt. eddie took some steps towards the end of the season so i could see them giving courtney a year to get bigger and stronger (i think he's up to the 220 range right now) who starts at the 1 is interesting but both stringer and ross-miller will play a lot. bass could even start a game or two for defense. dotson, despite being limited on offense did a good job defensively, probably the only guy on the team not named tasmin mitchell that knew how to defend the pick and roll. i love ralston turner though. pure shooter, crashes the boards similarly tomarcus thornton.
