I have no logical explanation as to why we even offered Shipley a scholarship other than he has the genes of Jaxon and Jordan. We are loaded at tight end and have enough OT's with our huge OL class last year...
The dude could not stop gaining weight either. Every time I see him listed he was weighing more and near 300 now. I am sure the coaches got on him bc he couldn't ease off on the gumbo. Song long!

We say who cares, not the coach. He was going to be a blocking TE in the mold of Gordon, but I remember him talking so much about wanting to catch passes so he obviously didn't want to be a glorified OT.
