WARDELL MACK
70 NAT'L
5 POSITION
6'1" | 175 LBS | CB | 2024
JOHN EHRET
MARRERO, LA
5.9
Last spring when LSU started to get seriously involved with Mack it seemed like a commitment to the Tigers could come at any time. Fast forward a year and the Marrero (La.) John Ehret four-star cornerback is still on the market.
Alabama has made this interesting but communication has slowed with some coaching changes. Florida State, Ole Miss, Colorado and others are involved but it would be a stunner to not see him in Baton Rouge.
Prediction: LSU

KA'DAVION DOTSON
92 NAT'L
7 POSITION
6'0" | 178 LBS | S | 2024
DUNCANVILLE
DUNCANVILLE, TX
5.9
Texas and Arizona State are getting visits. Miami, Florida, Oregon, Arkansas and others are trying to be involved. But LSU is clearly the team to beat for the four-star defensive back from Duncanville, Texas.
The Tigers could be way out in front, too.
LSU has always been a program that has shown Dotson a tremendous amount of attention and vice versa. It looks like the school where he wants to play.
Prediction: LSU

Solid stuff brother, appreciate the intel. I wonder where this leaves Simmons with Dotson and him looking at schools together (as far as I’ve read). Think this class can be an elite one.

If you go by forecast, LSU is still leading.

Us, Texas, UGA, NIL is crucial according to Simmons. Thus far everyone is saying the right things in regards to us playing ball so we'll see.

If NIL is that important to him then you can count us out. Depends on how bad Texas and Georgia want him.

He said its important but it's not everything.

Lol this mindset is the logical result of this board blaming 100% of recruiting losses on NIL and attributing 100% of successes to the program itself. Did you count us out of the Harold Perkins race, too?
People need to stop convincing themselves that every kid who doesn't come to LSU must have only cared about NIL money. Just in case you guys didn't realize, literally *every* fanbase does this same thing. The fact is that NIL has been a problem for some programs but not nearly as many as fanbases who believe NIL is killing them. We're doing fine.

He did say NIL was not everything, but it's a big factor. No kid is going to say NIL is the only reason he chooses a certain school, and I don't think any kid actually does choose a school solely based on the money. But there are lots of great programs pursuing Simmons, and he's made it clear that any school hoping to sign him is going to have to be competitive in NIL.
Unless things change a lot (and I suppose they could) I really don't see Georgia signing him. He just sort of tossed Georgia and Alabama in as an afterthought. Of course he's a kid, so who knows?

Angel Reese says hello. LSU can point to athletes and say, you can make as much money here as you want, because we won't stand in your way at all. As a matter of fact, you can use our logos if you want. You can't do that at every school. We're going to help you any way we can.

I think Doctson is visiting this weekend with Caden Durham.

CC or Smash, does he project as a safety? Size seems more like a CB...
