Good news on Demouy Kennedy!

I spoke with someone very, very close to Kennedy and he said he would not be surprised if a commitment to LSU comes in the next couple of weeks. He said the team to watch for is A&M because of Dameyune Craig, who is from Mobile and pushing hard for Kennedy. In his opinion, he said he still thinks Kennedy ends up with the Tigers, but A&M is really pouring it on! Kennedy is going to be a stud in college so hopefully we can rein him in!

Anyone know Craigs beef with LSU? All I knew anout him was that he was a coach here, then went to A&M.

He went to Florida State first. He was working for minimum wage ($8 per hour) there because he was getting his buyout from LSU. Even if he made more he would have made the same amount per his contract with LSU. So instead of FSU paying the bulk of his salary, LSU had to pay it.
He was fired from LSU because he sucked at his job. He was appointed the role of recruiting coordinator when Eaux became the interim coach. One job responsibility of a RC is to keep up with a recruit's eligibility.
On signing day 2017 the LSU staff was anxiously awaiting junior college wide receiver Stephen Guidry's signed LOI. It never came. They found out late in the day that he had failed to qualify and would have to do another year of JUCO. This was the second time he was committed to LSU and couldn't sign because of grades.
I'm sure there was other stuff involved but I believe the Guidry fiasco may have been the final straw.

If I recall correctly, he was bad mouthing LSU to recruits while still employed by LSU. Hence the firing.

He got fired because he was telling devonte smith to go elsewhere. Not that it would have mattered, but he got caught sabotaging recruiting

I need to catch up with my friend again because last time I spoke to him ND was in the picture. That was a couple of months ago, but he didn't mention them at all this past week, so hopefully that's a good thing!

I spoke with him last week. I wouldn’t be shocked to see a commit, but he did say he would wait until signing day.

2 reasons that I can see.
1) Actively steered kids away from LSU while he was still on staff
2) Instigated the melee after the A&M game last year as if he was some kind of a victim in his being fired
