I don't think any amount of waiting or not waiting would have made either JJ or Lee significantly better. The problem wasn't that they played "too early" but rather that neither one was particularly accomplished at the position.

No doubt. They weren't going to be studs but I definitely think giving them, especially Lee, more time to sit and learn the game in the SEC would have been beneficial.

It certainly couldn't have hurt. It would just be nice to not be forced into that position

Speaking of Kizer, is Urbz not recruiting him? Why not?

And we didn't really recruit anyone before or after them that panned out (RP before, Garrett and Shepard after).

QB is most important position on field and the best way to avoid busts is by signing one every year. Some years you might get a 5* can't miss, others might be projects, but you have to get one every year (or at least 3 in a 4 year period).

Exactly. And I love the fact that it appears we are building good depth there.

I'm tired of hearing how lsu can't put a good qb on the field.

Looks like we are going for 4 in a 2 year period. We're going to have options at QB for sure.

is corch meyers interested in harris at all?

Harris is agile, good speed, strong arm, but unproven accuracy. He seems to have a strong ego.

Anyone know about his teammate, artayvious Lynn , has a nice frame and I really think his recruiting will heat up with BHarris throwing to him.

His bump on 247 will help inflate his ego even more.

People who say Harris has an ego don't know the kid. He talks to everyone who wants to talk to him. He always tells everyone how blessed and lucky he is.

He thinks it would be an honor to play for his home state and likes Cam, I don't think he grew up a LSU fan. He is not telling people much about who leads and who doesn't

yes.

And to answer someone else's question, Kizer doesn't have an OSU offer because he was adamant at the start of things he wanted to play in the SEC.

WHat are you basing this on? Do you live in Bossier, do you know the kid? We haven't even heard him talk enough to start some kind of generalization.
