I was hoping DelRosario would look better. Conditioning seems to be one issue, and that's fixable.

Exactly. Aalyah looked fresh rebounding and running the court past other players in the first few minutes of the Ballislife game, then looked completely out-of-shape/walking up the court for the rest of the game. If it's just conditioning, that would significantly help depth at Center.

The conditioned Del Rosario that showed up in this older video would get backup minutes next season
...and in this one, too

Don’t forget about Janae Kent, the fourth member of this class. She is a 6’1” prolific scorer ... she is a great shooter from all 3 levels.

Del Rosario may have looked poor in the Ball is Life game, but she looked VERY good to me in the McDonald's game last month. Keep in mind these are high school kids and this is getting pretty late for them, in terms of length of the season. I think she'll be fine conditioning-wise next season. She's got a VERY nice post up game. She can shoot with either hand, she's a good passer, AND she can actually step out to the three point line. Del Rosario will be VERY good for us in the future.

LINK ]2023 Who's NXT All-American Game (feat. Mikaylah Williams, Angelica Velez, & Aalyah Del Rosario on the same team)

This game was actually played on WCBB Final Four Weekend, but was just uploaded to YouTube. If you saw the Ballislife All-Star Game about a month ago with the LSU trio playing together on the same team, you probably came away thinking that Mikaylah is a beast, Velez is a revelation, and Del Rosario is a project. In this game, Del Rosario is still raw, but much more active & promising as a big body rebounder.

Del Rosario: 15 reb, 4 pts, 2 blk, 1 stl

Velez: 19 pts, 5 assists, 5 reb, 1 stl

Williams: 27 pts, 4 assists, 6 reb

Bonus: Williams/Velez interviewed together post-game (and the broadcast's play-by-play/color is much more professional & coherent)

It's because Juju is going to Southern Cal. Mikaylah is a whole lot better than Juju. Also rankings are bias towards LSU

Kent’s game reminds me a lot of former lady tiger Scholonda Hoston.

Reading all the comments about DelRosario I came away pleasantly surprised after actually watching the game. She will become a dominating player down the line. She does need to slim down a little and get in better condition but she does have game.
