Great Question Skeezer. I appreciate your concern, and maybe it’s a fair question, maybe it’s not. We can let our friends here decide.
I am a Coach, Mentor Family Friend to Quad. I also Coach and Mentor his little brother. I also Coach and Mentor 47 inner city kids through a scholar athlete program created by our Chief of Staff in Birmingham, who also happens to be my best friend.
Our goal is to help kids, many of which are fatherless, sometimes motherless as well, living in the worst possible conditions our country has to offer. The most dangerous projects in Birmingham.
The Goal is to instill life changing values such as connecting the importance of Academics to the ability to further education and opportunity through Athletics. It’s a one of a kind program. 92 percent of our kids made the honor roll.
Additionally I played College Football, Served in the Army, and recently I have been hired on with a fast growing recruiting company as The Director of Scouting for the Football Department.
So...frankly...I now have plenty of Contacts. Including the fine people at LSU who I would love to see Quad play for. So I’m grateful for that.
I appreciate your concerns, and I hope that clears up any questions you have about who I am. Have a great holiday weekend.

Anyone have 247 Acess? Would love to read the thread about Quad going right now

Contact Shea at 247 and tell him who you are. They may comp you a membership. When I was a memeber a few years ago, I think there were a few coaches with free memeberships

There should be a way to email him or Sonny Shipp and let them know who you are.

I am hoping to see this kid at LSU. What a story this entire thread has been. It needs to be saved and archived.
What a great man you seem to be CoachJG45
Go Quad!!

Appreciate it Vood. Things should really start to shake out this summer from what I understand. Quad definitely has enjoyed his visits, and really fell in love with the atmosphere, the people, the campus, etc. I would love to see him be a Tiger.

I don't think you'd like what's sad in that 247 thread, just being honest.

Nevermind. I read it and responded. Since it was brought up over there, I’m going to address the subject here.
A poster on 247 basically said I’m personally looking for a payday through Quads recruitment, and went further to say that I should find a better recruit to leverage.
1. This is false and frankly if I were offered money or opportunity in exchange for Quads recruitment, I would strongly advise Quad to immediately stop speaking to that school.
2. I’m involved until I’m not needed to be involved which is the second Quad has picked a school. I made a promise to Quads Dad, who has very limited resources and knowledge of this process that I would do everything possible to help Quad, and I love Quad like a son.
If it works out with LSU great. If he does somewhere else great. But I’m going to keep pushing his recruitment until the goal is achieved.

Coach don't listen to the detractors. Some people hate on others success. Just keep doing what your doing for quad and other athletes. Your doing a lot of good.

With that response, hopefully the people you are talking to through this board carry that with them to other boards.
Most anyone who throws stuff out like that is hoping it sticks. And on a message board that means he/she is just hoping for a 'following', even for a short while. The good noise will drown out the bad noise and you just keep doing what you're doing. If it's the right thing for you and yours, it is indeed the right thing.
