eh when you have as little talent and few numbers as we do, you shouldn't be losing guys like Gathers regardless of how good you think he will or won't be.
This was Trent's swing and miss though, obviously not on the new regime. We can finally close the book on Trent's shitty recruiting and chalk this last L up to him.

There are definitely sour grapes when it comes to recruiting in general, but I think this board has been mostly consistent. Even when many thought we had a good chance to sign him, he was generally thought to be a solid player that LSU needed to sign, but not a star.

he is good, but not a top tier player imo. Dillon Gordon shut him down when Curtis played them. It will take some adjusting to a different position for him in college.

Really wish they would have actually FIRED TJ after the season instead of lolly gagging around until he "left" for TCU and put us in a recruiting crunch for next year when we had so many scholarships to give out. Really would have liked to have seen what JJ could have done with Gathers given a month or two to recruit him.
Can't believe Trent is essentially leaving our program where it was a year after he found it.
