Where does he play? Who’s his comp. I watched his highlights this morning, and he is explosive and makes a ton of plays. And just plays like a great football player. But a lot of his highlights came with him standing up, almost like a Jack in a 3-4. But he’s only 6’2”? Which isn’t ideal for 3-4 Jack OLB. Looks explosive enough to gain weight and be a disruptive shorter DT in a 4-3, like a Wingo or Neal. Hell, Neal even excelled as a shorter DE with a hand in the dirt at times.

But Reiliford made a quote recently that he was adamantly not a DT, didn’t he? I know a ton will come down to who the DC is and what scheme he plans to run. And I think you’ve got to get this guy on the field somewhere. May be ‘25 by the time he gets his body to fit whatever position he winds up at. But what position will that be? Where is everybody who knows these things thinking he winds up?

His comp is to lose 10-15 pounds and be a beast at LB. Maybe he can build back up, but I comp him to Kyle Van Noy with the Ravens.

This is what I thought watching his highlights. He’s a heat-seeking missile that attacks the guy with the ball from 10-15 yards away. Didn’t look or play like a DL. And one thing I loved was he got sucked in briefly on 1 running play, recognized it immediately, disengaged, turned around, and chased that RB down 50/60 yards downfield.

***got the highlights from a Carter (the Power) Bryant YouTube video he put out the day he committed or the day after. For credit purposes***

Colin Simmons is listed as 6'2"&1/2... Don't see a problem at all playing him at edge.
