Haha

Not much so far. I don't think everyone has arrived yet. I think the main day is tomorrow.

I am a very worried about Seals Jones. LINK. Judging by the comment, he is coming in early and usually those prospects are the big time targets and are expect to commit.

Coach Owens @simplyCoachO
Justin Manning is attending TCU junior day tomorrow and UT sunday

Justin Manning, Dallas Kimball DT
Overall odds: 50%

Now that's funny

Overall though, not a lot of confidence from that site. Maybe Texas is starting to feel the last two years?

Ya I checked the 247 paid site and they had more favorable odds on a lot of the prospects.

No way they get Justin Manning, he has clearly said he wants out of Texas. They have never been in his top group.

Hell, Texas is usually done recruiting, save 3 or 4 guys, by the time June rolls around

You may have good reason to fear this. I am hearing that RSJ did not make the trip to TCU as planned and instead visited UT early.

That is the reason. Hopefully he waits it out and doesn't buy into the Longhorn hype.

I believe Manning is the one that is the brother of Demarcus Granger. For this reason, I would think that UT would be his least likely destination. He would be more likely to go to a school like TCU which is local but probably would end up at a school like OU or LSU if his brother has much influence.

Thanks for the round up Wolverines! Been busy with work the last couple of days and haven't been able to catch up with anything.

That was not the case last year. For example, they had 4 players sign basically the last week before the deadline (Johnson, Santos, Cottrell, Davis). The two bad seasons back to back has taken some toll on Texas. They got their first two JUCO players in the Mack Brown era this year. They also had their first player from the state of Texas decommit this year (Thomas Johnson). They also had 14 players leave the program this year. Texas still had a great recruiting class but if they have another ho-hum season this year, Mack will for the first time truly be in danger of being fired.

Bottom line: Texas will still get their share of guys but recruits are looking around at others more closely now.

Mack is going to press him hard to commit tomorrow. Will be interesting to see what happens. He seems to have really enjoyed his junior day visit at lsu though. Hopefully he doesnt commit to Texas tomorrow.

Has Justin Manning visited LSU yet? The reason I ask is someone who would know is saying UT, OU, A&M and TCU are his top 4 right now. Of course, it is a long way from signing day.

That is true but Longhorn fans will tell you and it appears to be the case that he also tried to recommit to Texas later on and was told to basically take a hike. Now, I don't have a problem making him the first one as I am not a big fan of UT but many UT fans will not own that one.

Either way, they have had a number of players decommit which shows they are not nearly as solid as they pretend to be.

It's tomorrow so the news of any commits or who did not will be likely out that afternoon or evening.
