looking at the comments by gino and who thinks we might not WAIT on Prevot (especially since Williams might be a late year commit). gino keeps talking about the SUPER SIX which implies 3 de in this class, Williams, Patterson, Herron. idk.

I wonder where Beckwith falls in with this DE class as well. I know the staff said either LB or DE, but they really want him at DE. I'm thinking we could take up to 7-8 DL in this class depending who wants in

I like Prevot & Williams over Herron and if we can pull those two I would not be upset at all to "lose" him to MSU.

We haven't really had much luck here in Memphis.
We really haven't gone after many Memphis recruits. My take on Memphis is that Memphis kids see the Memphis and Ole Miss "rivalry" and don't usually go to Miss Schools. If they do, they go to Ole Miss since they see them more. I have nothing to back this up, but that would be my only explination for those things happening.

I don't know what you do on the SECr Bundy, but your post on the RB are ok by me. You aren't flaming the board and you usually have some good info on Miss recruits.

Frick that. Take all 3, DE depth after this year is atrocious with only 4 guys returning. Maclin and Allen haven't shown anything since they've been here and both were passed by Rasco.

What is this? Is this something Gino made up? Because I've never seen it referenced anywhere but here in tandem with his name. (I refuse to read his site, so I wouldn't have seen it referenced there)
Also, Gino has no insight into what the staff is actually thinking. Any info he gets is from creeping on the recruits, so it's one-sided.

I agree with you sunnydaze. I think we need as many DL in this class as we can get. It's the most important position of need, next to QB, in this class? For some reason, I still have hope for Nkemdiche too lol

We've rotated 4 ends and 4 tackles a game since chief has been here. The guy knows what he wants in terms of personnel for his different packages.

I think the maximum amount of dl would be 7 in which case I would take 4 dt. freak and ferguson will be gone after next year and all we have left is mickey johnson and quentin thomas. as for de we will still have rasco and hunter who have much more potential than johnson and thomas. we too no dt last year.

On the rant people give me a hard time because I'm such a big State homer and constantly brag when we do good.

I think Herron could play some DT as well, if he can put on some muscle and keep his quickness. Next year we have Gerald Willis, and a couple other SEC DT's in LA. This class is going to watch fill out on the DL
